This document describes a dental risk predictor tool that was developed to estimate a patient's probability of tooth loss. It uses logistic regression models trained on national health survey data to analyze risk factors like age, sex, income level, smoking, and more. The tool generates personalized risk assessments for each tooth and identifies the most important risk factors. The goal is to educate patients about their dental risks, improve appointment adherence, and support dentists in prioritizing care. Validation tests achieved 70-85% accuracy across 32 tooth locations. The tool could help fill the gap between perceived and actual dental needs.
