The new product is a computer program that contains a data base of all the cars, sports utility vehicles (SUV’s), vans, pick-up trucks and tractor-trailers manufactured since 1980. The program provides a computer diagram of each vehicle and highlights likely areas within the dash, doors, floor, headliner, gas tank, trunk, engine compartment, and other areas where drugs and weapons might be hidden. Furthermore, the program provides a list of tools and instructions needed for accessing those prime hiding spots. A wireless internet card would provide access to the database needed for laptops currently deployed in law enforcement officer’s cars. The database then would be updated continuously or periodically with manufacturers’ new car specifications and new makes and models are available through internet uplink. Each officer would be provided with a login and password to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing the database.
