4. The image featured on our magazine cover is of our main character, the
villain Grace. She is also featured on the film poster. Audiences will
recognize her distinct appearance from ‘The Asylum’ film poster and
therefore will automatically relate her image with our film. So without even
reading the magazine cover or even seeing ‘The Asylum’ written anywhere,
they will be aware of the fact that this publication is concentrating on our
film ‘The Asylum’. The image has been shot in a low lit area which casts
shadows onto Grace’s face and makes her look scary and spooky opposed
to an image which has been shot in a high lit area which would look cheery.
The position that our actor is in (staring up) almost makes it look like she is
Possessed by something or someone. Usually the actors are looking straight
