He made several changes from the original magazine he was inspired by to avoid plagiarism, such as altering the model's pose and clothing and changing the placement and size of design elements. He represented his target audience of teenagers through the model's casual clothing. Distribution of his magazine could work for magazines like Q, NME or Kerrang that target a similar young rock music audience. He aimed to attract this audience through design choices like font, colors and layout that give off a dark, rock music vibe. Looking back, he felt he improved in areas like image cutting, text readability and using the full space compared to his preliminary work.

- 1. Magazine Cover 3 Editing
- 2. At the start of the magazine I inserted my photograph which suited best. Their was enough space for all of my cover lines and title.
- 3. In this screengrab I inserted the title of my magazine. As the title isn’t long enough to cover the top of the cover, like other magazines I placed the title in the top left corner. I also used a unique font, colour and style so that it would stand out.
- 4. I inserted the main cover line onto the main image in a different colour so that it would stand out from the other cover lines. It will be a different colour size and style from the other cover lines so that it stands out more.
- 5. Here I inserted a cover line into the space. It is a different colour, size and font style to the other features on the cover. This is so that the audience understands that this is a cover line.
- 6. Again I inserted another cover line in the same font and style as the other so that the audience knows that this is a cover line.
- 7. Again I inserted another cover line in the same font and style as the other so that the audience knows that this is a cover line.
- 8. Again I inserted another cover line in the same font and style as the other so that the audience knows that this is a cover line.
