yüzyıldan beri bağımsızlığını koruyor. Avrupa’daki en zengin halk
kültürüne sahip Macaristan, tarihi eserleri, doğal parkları, termal
hamamlarıyla her yıl 10 milyondan fazla turisti tarafından ziyaret
ediliyor.
Milattan önceki zamanlarda Roma İmpratorluğu toprakları arasında
yer alan Macaristan, ilk bağımsızlığını 896 yılında Macaristan
Prensliği’nin kurulmasından sonra elde etti. Giderek büyüyen prenslik
1000 yılına gelindiğinde bir krallık oldu. 15 ve 16. yüzyıllarda sıklıkla
Osmanlı saldırılarına maruz kalan ülkenin büyük bir bölümü Mohaç

4. Resmi adı Macaristan Cumhuriyeti olarak bilinen ülkenin adı, 2012
yılında Macaristanolarak değiştirildi. 1999’dan beri NATO’da yer alan
Orta Avrupa ülkesi, 2004’ten beri Avrupa Birliği üye ülkeleri arasında yer
alıyor.
Macaristan İngilizce ‘Hungary’ adıyla tanınıyor ve bu adla bir Türk kabilesi
olan ve Orta Asya’dan gelip Macaristan çevresine yerleşen Avrupa
Hunları’na atıfta bunuluyor. Bunun nedeni Macar halkının Avrupa
Hunları’ndan oluştuğunun düşünülmesi.
Dünyanın en güzel kentlerinden biri olarak gösterilen Budapeşte’nin
başkentliğini yaptığı ülke, 19 idari ilden oluşuyor ülke genelinde yaklaşık
10 milyon insan yaşıyor. Resmi dilin Macarca olduğu Macaristan’da, ikinci
dil olarak İngilizce üçüncü dil olarak Almanca konuşuluyor. Para birimi
olarak Macar Forint‘i kullanılan ülkede Avrupa Birliği Üye Ülkeleri
arasında bulunmasından dolayı Euro da kullanılıyor.
17. yüzyılda Avusturya ile birleşen ülke, Avusturya-Macaristan
İmpratorluğu olarak 1918 yılına kadar varlığını sürdürdü. 1 Dünya
Savaşı’ndan sonra kurulan Macaristan Sovyet Cumhuriyeti 1921-1944
yılları arasında varlığını sürdürdü. 1947 – 1989 yılları
arasında komünist yönetimi benimseyen Macaristan 1989 yılından

145 doğal koruma alanı, 35 düzenlenmiş özel alan ve 10 milli parka sahip
ülke, ilkbahar ve sonbahar göç sezonunda kuşlar için önemli bir durak
konumunda. Kosice yakınlarında bulunan ve UNESCO Dünya Mirası
Listesi‘nde yer alan Aggtelek Milli Parkı, 712 mağaradan
oluşuyor. Macaristan’ın Slovakya ile paylaştığı bu park 55.800 hektar
alanı kaplıyor ve dünyanın en büyük mağara sistemi olarak biliniyor.
1000’den fazla kaplıcasıyla ve 300.000 kapasiteli SPA tesisine sahip olan
ülkede 450 hamam hizmet veriyor. Başkent Budapeşte’de dünyanın en
büyük yer altı jeotermal mağara sistemine sahip. Avrupa’nın en büyük
termal tesisi sayılan Szechenyi Termal Hamamı da Budapeşte’de

12. Oldukça gelişmiş bir ulaşım ağına sahip Macaristan’ın ekonomisi ihracat
odaklıdır. Çok fazla doğal kaynağa sahip olmayan ülkede boksit ve doğalgaz
mevcuttur. Endüstriyel ekonominin gelişmiş olduğu ülkede kimyasal,
plastik, gübre, alüminyum ve inşaat sektörleri aktiftir. Bunun yanı sıra
bilgisayar ve tekomünikasyon ağında da oldukça gelişmiştir. OECD üyesi
ülke yabancı yatırımcıları destekleme konusunda Orta ve Doğu Avrupa’daki
liderliğini korumaktadır. Almanya, Avusturya, Slovakya, İtalya, Polonya, Çek
Cumhuriyeti, Romanya ve Fransa ile ticari ilişkilerini sürdüren ülke bilim ve
teknoloji alanında önemli atılımlar yapmaktadır. Fizik, matematik, kimya ve
mühendislik alanlarında hatırı sayılır katkılara sahip ülke bu alandaki
faaliyetleri desteklemektedir. Şimdiye kadar 13 Macar bilim adamı Nobel

MACARİSTAN’IN EKONOMİSİ
13. Macaristan mutfağı denince akla ilk gelen şey paprikadır. Çok geniş bir coğrafyadan etkilendiği
mutfağında Fransa ve Türkiye’nin yanı sıra Orta Avrupa ülkelerinin de etkisi görülür.
Mutfaklarıyla gurur duyan Macarların yemeklerinin olmazsa olmazı baharatlarıdır. Macarların
ulusal yemeği gulaş [3]tır. Paprika aromalı bir çeşit çorba olan gulaşın yanı sıra Macaristan
mutfağında et oldukça popülerdir. Özellikle domuz eti ve bifteği yemeklerinde çokça kullanırlar.
Irmak balıkçılığının yaygın olduğu ülkede sazan ve sudak en çok tüketilen balıklar arasındadır.
Tavuk ve hindi etinin de oldukça yaygın olduğu ülke mutfağında ülkenin kendine has lezzetleri
paprika soslu tavuk paprikás csirke ve paprikalı balık çorbası halászlé çokça tüketilir. eti de
ülkede oldukça popülerdir. Özellikle kaz ciğeri libamáj ve rosto edilmiş kaz bacağı karşınıza en
çok çıkacak çeşitlerdendir. Macarlar sebze yemeklerine de düşkündür. Ayrıca düşkün oldukları
bir diğer şey ise turşudur. Kahvaltılarında bile mutlaka turşu vardır. Ülke mutfağının yerel
tatlılarından gundel palacsinta pankekin yanında ceviz, kuru üzüm, limon rendesi ve çikolatalı
sos ile rom ikram edilir. Vejetaryen ve vegan yemek çeşitlerinin de oldukça zengin olduğu ülkede
ziyaretçiler özellikle ülkenin batı kesiminde kendilerine göre yiyecekler bulabilirler.
Macaristan’da şarap oldukça ciddiye alınır. Ülkenin en meşhur şarap markaları zengin
üzümlerden üretilen kırmızı şarap markası Kékfrancos ve tatlı beyaz şarabı Tokaj’dır. Ülkenin

Macaristan Mutfağı
15. Halihazırda güçlü bir eğitim sistemi olan Macaristan, Avrupa Birliği'ne girmesiyle beraber
bu kaliteyi birkaç adım ileriye taşıdı. AB fonlarından aldığı desteklerle, eğitimde büyük
ilerleme kateden Macaristan yurtdışından gelen üniversite öğrencilerin tercih etmekte
zorlanmadığı bir ülke haline geldi.
Macaristan üniversiteleri, Avrupa'nın en güçlü üniversiteleri arasında yer almaktadırlar.
Bugüne kadar toplamda 14 Macar bilimadamı ve sanatçı Nobel almaya hak kazanmıştır. Bu
da Macaristan'ın eğitimdeki başarısını açıkça gözler önüne sermektedir.
Türkiye'deki öğrenciler için, Macaris'tanda eğitim almak en iyi yurtdışı çözümlerinden biri
sayılmaktadır. Gerek coğrafi yakınlığı, gerek kültürel benzerliği sayesinde birçok Türk genci
yurtdışında okumak için Macaristan'ı tercih etmektedir.
Macaristan'da eğitim maliyetinin oldukça düşük olmasıyla beraber eğitim dilinin
İngilizce olması da bu tercih sebeplerinin başındadır. Üstelik Macaristan'da bir üniversitede
okumak için LYS başarısı gerekmemektedir. Mezun olduğunuz lisenin diplomasıyla
birlikte, potansiyeliniz ve yetenekleriniz doğrultusunda bir bölümde okumanız mümkün.
Macaristan'da Eğitim
Tüm bunların yanında, Macaristan'da okuduğunuz taktirde Schengen vizeniz
olacaktır. Schengen vizesi size sayısız Avrupa ülkesini vizesiz seyehat etme olanağı
tanır.

17. Budapeşte’nin sivil hava taşımacılığı ihtiyacını, kent merkezine 16 kilometre
uzaklıktaki Franz Liszt Uluslararası Havalimanı tek başına karşılıyor. 2017 yılında 13
milyondan fazla konuğu ağırlayan havalimanında transfer hizmetlerinin çeşitliliğine ve
hizmet kalitesine bir hayli dikkat ediliyor. Hatta bu doğrultuda taksi şirketleri de dâhil
olmak üzere özel firmaların yolcu taşıyabilmeleri için öncelikle lisans almaları gerekiyor.
Transfer hizmetleri içerisinde en fazla tercih edilenler, direkt kent merkezine sefer
yapan 100E ve Ferigehy Tren Garı’na bağlantı sağlayan 200E numaralı havalimanı
otobüsleri. Gün doğumundan gece yarısına kadar sefer yapan bu otobüsler hizmet
dışıyken yolcu taşıma görevini 900 hat numaralı araç üstleniyor. Eğer 200E ile gara gidip
banliyö trenlerine binerseniz, kentteki ana tren istasyonlarından biri olan Nyugati’ye
ulaşabilirsiniz.

sıcaklıklar yazın 39 derece civarında seyrederken
kışın -20 dereceye kadar düşer. Ilıman karasal
iklime sahip ülkede yağmurun düşüşünü öngörmek
genelde çok kolay değildir. Yaz aylarında aniden
çıkan kuvvetli fırtınalar yaşanabilmektedir, ama en
çok yağmurun düştüğü mevsim sonbahardır.
Ülkenin batısı doğusuna göre daha yağışlıdır. Yazları
havanın sıcak olduğu ülkede kışları sıcaklıklar 0
derecenin altına düşer.
Macaristan’da İklim ve Hava Durumu
20. "Macaristan" ismi, "Avların Ülkesi" olarak tercüme edilen Ortaçağ Latin Macaristan'dan
gelmektedir. Başka bir kaynakta, ogre üzerinde "on ok" veya "on insan" ifade eden yani
Türkçeden türetidiğine işaret eden başka kaynaklarda var.
-Yerli Macarların yaklaşık üçte biri (yaklaşık 5 milyon) Macaristan dışında, çoğunlukla
Romanya'da yaşıyor ancak birçoğu komşu ülkelerde yaşıyor.
-Macarca dilinde macskajaj (beşik ağlıyor demek) ve Macarlar, akşam için en iyi
terapi ülkenin birçok termal banyosunda yıkanmaktadır.
Macarlar, 2007'de Budapeşte'nin parlamento binasında 6.400'den fazla çiftin dudaklarını
kilitlerken, eşzamanlı öpüşme için Guinness Dünya Rekoru'nu kırdı.
-"96" sayısı Macaristan'da önemlidir. Arpad, Magiars ve A.D'nin ilk kralıydı.
-1986 Macar Grand Prix, Demir Perdenin arkasındaki ilk Formula Bir yarışıdır.
