This research investigates the impact of leadership behavior, organizational climate, intrinsic motivation, and engagement on the performance of permanent lecturers in a private university in Jakarta, revealing that leadership behavior significantly influences organizational climate and engagement, while organizational climate also affects lecturer performance. Out of ten hypotheses tested, four were found to be significant, highlighting the importance of leadership and climate in enhancing educational outcomes. The study underscores the necessity for universities to adopt effective leadership styles and foster a supportive environment to improve lecturer performance.
