Lyaysan Rayanova is a Russian mountain skier who began competing at age 6 and professionally at age 10. Her first major victory was a gold medal at the Russian junior championships in 2004. She went on to win 8 Russian championships between 2005-2011. Rayanova competed in her first international competition in 2004 and World Cup in 2008. She represented Russia in slalom, giant slalom and super-G at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics before retiring in 2011 to attend university and get married.
