thGAP - Transgenic Human Germline Alternatives Project, presents an evening of input lectures, discussions and a performative workshop on artistic interventions for future scenarios of human genetic and inheritable modifications.
To begin our lecturers, Marc Dusseiller aka "dusjagr" and Rodrigo Martin Iglesias, will give an overview of their transdisciplinary practices, including the history of hackteria, a global network for sharing knowledge to involve artists in hands-on and Do-It-With-Others (DIWO) working with the lifesciences, and reflections on future scenarios from the 8-bit computer games of the 80ies to current real-world endeavous of genetically modifiying the human species.
We will then follow up with discussions and hands-on experiments on working with embryos, ovums, gametes, genetic materials from code to slime, in a creative and playful workshop setup, where all paticipant can collaborate on artistic interventions into the germline of a post-human future.

julian, dick, and Anne were invited to vacation at their aunt's house aunty Fanny
and Uncle Quentin at Kirrin. There they met Georgina, there was also Timmy,
George's dog.
George agreed to take his three cousins to Kirrin Island, an island belonging to
Aunt Fanny's family.
But shortly after, a storm hit Kirrin so it was too dangerous to return to the
mainland.
Deciding to take refuge on the island, they watched the sea spew out an old
shipwreck and base it on the rocks around the island.
3. The next day, the five returned to the shipwreck and found the Captain's cabin,
including an old box that they took to the house.
It turned out that the box contained an old map of Kirrin Island. The five realized
that the map showed where the gold from the shipwreck was stored
The five was shocked to learn that an old box and map had been purchased by an
antique collector who also wanted to buy Kirin island. The five then tried to find it
first from the buyer of the island of Kirrin.
4. Arriving on the island, the Five Friends traveled through the ruins of the castle to
find the basement where gold was hidden. While the kids roam, Timmy runs after
the rabbit and accidentally falls into the old well. When the Five helped Timmy
out, they accidentally found the entrance to the basement.
Then the problem came when some bad people came to steal the gold. The Five
then made a plan to trap the bad guys when they returned to the island to get
gold.
5. Their plan was successful and they left the bad people in a state tied to the island.
They returned to Kirrin house to tell their uncle and aunt and report to the police.
Finally gold was removed from the basement and it was decided that the gold was
legitimate belonging to George's family.
