The document discusses living a life without regrets by focusing entirely on what Christ has done and not looking back to your past sins. It encourages the reader to see themselves as a new creation in Christ, forget past sins, and press forward towards their divine destiny. The reader is advised to spend their time and money on God rather than worldly things, serve God completely with undivided loyalty, and live obediently by faith to please God rather than others.
The document discusses how nothing can separate believers from the love of God through Christ. It references passages that say God has established a new covenant through Jesus, writing His law on people's hearts, and all will know Him. It asks what can separate believers from Christ's love, and answers that despite troubles, the love of God in Christ conquers all. Believers can draw near to God with confidence, know and experience His love, and are seated with Christ in the heavenly places.
Jesus said in John 10:35 that scripture cannot be broken yet Christians break many scripture today. We break scripture that command: love, forgiveness, concern for the unfaithful, living pure lives, winning souls and studying the Word of God. The result is sin, due penalty and people being lost.
The document discusses forgiving oneself through confession of sins to God (Psalms 32:5, 1 John 1:9). It emphasizes that guilt should not be ignored, and that prayer and confession of sins to God is the solution, resulting in forgiveness and cleansing from sin. It encourages having confidence in God's faithfulness to forgive through the blood of Jesus Christ, and to press on toward Christ by forgetting past sins and reaching toward spiritual growth.
Paul discusses the boundaries of fellowship in 2 Corinthians 10:7-18. He says that fellowship must be within the limits appointed by God and include only those who are truly in Christ by obeying His gospel. Christians cannot fellowship with sin or those in error, as doing so would break God's boundaries and be a form of rebellion. True unity comes from all being baptized into Christ and continuing in obedience to Him.
The Lord Jesus makes us new creation. This is something no man or religion can do for us. He changes us at the very core of our being, gives us a new identity and power to live victorious lives.

This document summarizes key passages from Romans 9 regarding God's sovereignty in salvation. It discusses how God chose Isaac and Jacob over Ishmael and Esau, and how he hardened Pharaoh's heart to display his power. It notes that not all physical descendants of Abraham are children of God, only those chosen according to God's purposes. The document contrasts Israel's failure to attain righteousness through the law with the Gentiles' faith-based righteousness. It concludes that while Israel stumbled, those who trust in God will never be disgraced.
The passage discusses how Gentiles walk in futility and darkness, excluded from God due to ignorance and hardness of heart, having given themselves over to impurity. However, the reader is told they did not learn Christ in this way, and are instead called to lay aside their old self and be renewed, putting on the new self created in God's likeness through righteousness and holiness.
What is hypocrisy? There are two types of hypocrisy in the New Testament - performing a religious deed with the wrong motive and saying one thing and doing another! What is humility? Read the parable of the Pharisee and the publican praying - you'll see humility!
The document outlines the characteristics of a healthy church according to Bishop Genesis T. Udang. What is the reward for those striving to live righteously? They have a wonderful family! All brothers and sisters with like faith become our family and they are the salt of the earth! The righteous have peace and joy. It doesn't mean that tragedy does not befall them but they have peace in times of trouble and joy in times of anguish. They are reconciled to God and have eternal salvation! Plenty of reasons for us to strive to live the righteous life.

3) There are different levels of fellowship from a general fellowship with all men, to fellowship with those who are spiritual-minded or our physical family, to fellowship with those who have left fellowship with God which requires admonishment as a brother. True fellowship exists through our fellowship with God and His children

Each summary includes: the church addressed, a description of Christ, commendation or praise for the church, rebuke of any issues, a call to action or solution, potential consequences of disobedience, and a promise for those who overcome or conquer. The church of Thyatira is commended for growing love and good works but rebuked for tolerating false teaching, and told to repent and hold fast to true doctrine to receive authority over the nations.
C. S. Lewis’ reaction to the Sermon on the Mount stated, “As to ‘caring for’ the Sermon on the Mount, if ‘caring for’ here means ‘liking’ or enjoying, I suppose no one ‘cares for’ it. Who can like being knocked flat on his face by a sledgehammer? I can hardly imagine a more deadly spiritual condition than that of a man who can read that passage with tranquil pleasure.” Certainly, in consideration of this beatitude and promise of persecution, this observation is profoundly true.
The passage describes the transfiguration of Jesus where his face shone brightly before Peter, James, and John. It emphasizes listening to Jesus and not being afraid.

God calls Himself a jealous God to express His holiness and exclusive right to the worship and devotion of His people. He threatens punishment for those who hate Him and disobey His commandments, including physical death and eternal damnation. He threatens to punish descendants for the sins of their fathers to motivate fear of His anger and obedience to His commands. However, He promises blessings of His constant love and goodness to those who believe in Him and keep His commandments, both in this life and the next.

How Can a Loving God Condemn Anyone to HellPeter Hammond
God does not condemn those who have never heard the gospel. All people have received general revelation through creation and have a conscience, and will be judged according to the light they received. However, humans are sinful and fall short even of the light they have. The gospel provides special revelation so people can be saved through faith in Christ. There are no truly good people seeking God - all need salvation.
God keeps a book in which HE records the names of those who have been washed in the blood of the Lamb. In this lesson we will discuss how to have your name written in the book of life and can I ever have my name removed.from the book.

This document discusses the necessity of salvation through Jesus Christ. It begins by explaining that we must understand God's holiness and our own sinfulness and unrighteousness. It then explains who Jesus is as the Word made flesh, who lived a sinless life and died for our sins. We are called to repent of our sins, deny ourselves, and follow Christ by taking up our cross. Counting the full cost of discipleship is required. Finally, it emphasizes that salvation through Jesus is worth any cost, as it is the only way to be reconciled to God and spared from His wrath.
The document provides the readings and commentary for a Bible study on the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time A. It includes the first reading from Leviticus about being holy and loving one's neighbor, the responsorial Psalm about God's mercy and compassion, the second reading from 1 Corinthians about being temples of the Holy Spirit, and the Gospel from Matthew about being perfected in love. Reflections question whether one loves themselves, their body as God's temple, and others like neighbors and enemies. The document aims to help prepare a homily focusing on developing extraordinary love as Christians.

The goal is drawing nearer to God through honest, humble prayer that acknowledges our resistance but seeks His guidance.
Jesus delivers the Beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount. The Beatitudes describe eight blessings or states of happiness that Jesus says belong to specific kinds of people: the poor in spirit, those who mourn, the meek, those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, the merciful, the pure in heart, the peacemakers, and those who are persecuted for righteousness. The document then provides commentary on each Beatitude, explaining what each means and how to develop those qualities in one's life to find true happiness and blessing from God.

The responsorial psalm praises God's mercy, compassion, forgiveness and redemption. The second reading from 1 Corinthians teaches that Christians are God's temple and should not destroy each other through boasting or worldly wisdom. The Gospel reading from Matthew expands on Jesus' teachings from the Sermon on the Mount about practicing non-violence, generosity, and loving even one's enemies.
The document provides notes and commentary for a Bible study on the 7th Sunday in Ordinary Time, summarizing the readings from Leviticus, 1 Corinthians, and Matthew which call Christians to imitate God's holiness by loving neighbors and enemies, forgiving others, and turning the other cheek in response to harm instead of seeking revenge. The readings encourage believers to go above and beyond what is expected of others in showing compassion.
The document discusses rules from Deuteronomy about forbidden practices such as sacrificing children, divination, sorcery, witchcraft, and consulting mediums or spirits. It says the nations in the land practiced these things, but God did not allow the Israelites to do so. It also discusses how God would provide a prophet like Moses to speak for him, and that if a prophet's message did not come true then they were speaking presumptuously and not from God.
Similar to Lukewarmness: A Warning Against Self-Sufficiency (Rev 3.14-22) (20)
The document discusses how people can experience a changed heart through living in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. It notes that the heart is deceitful and sick by nature, but through confessing sins, dying to fleshly desires daily, and walking in dependence on the Spirit, one can be transformed. Avoiding quenching or grieving the Spirit and presenting one's body as a living sacrifice allows the Spirit to change a person from the inside out. Living filled with the Spirit is a matter of surrendering fully to the Spirit rather than how much of the Spirit one contains.
Discovering God's Will: Seeing the Big Picture (Ps 119.105)Walrus76
The document discusses how to discover God's will through scripture. It provides the acronym R.E.A.P. to remember the steps: read and interpret scripture, extract principles and values, apply the principles to your specific context, and practice it. It then examines two Bible verses about women covering their heads when praying or prophesying, extracting two principles and providing an example of contextualizing the principles for modern culture. Finally, it notes that God wants us to trust and depend on his word more than making the right choices.

A375 Example Taste the taste of the Lord, the taste of the Lord The taste of...franktsao4
It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375

13. “ Repentance means that you realize that you are a guilty, vile sinner in the presence of God, that you deserve the wrath and punishment of God, that you are hell-bound. It means that you begin to realize that this thing called sin is in you, that you long to get rid of it, and that you turn your back on it in every shape and form. You renounce the world whatever the cost, the world in its mind and outlook as well as its practice, and you deny yourself, and take up the cross and go after Christ .” - D.
