Session Title: Intercultural Relationship
Session Objectives: 1. Explain the meaning of intercultural relationship;
2. Identify examples and challenges of intercultural relationship;
3. Value the importance of intercultural relationships;
Key Concepts:  Intercultural relationship occurring between or involving two or more cultures. Intercultural relations, also
known as cross-cultural relations, involve interactions between individuals from different cultural
backgrounds.
 The benefits of intercultural relationships span differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, class,
nationality, religion, and much more
 While intercultural relationships can enrich our lives and provide life-changing benefits, they can also
present several challenges. In order to build a relationship across cultural boundaries, there has to
be motivation

Direction: The learners will be group into three (3) and list down different
forms of relationship and define each relationship (e.g. family relationship)
Concept Exploration: 10 minutes 1. Defining the concept of intercultural relationship and its form.
2. What are the examples and challenges of intercultural relationship?
3. What is the importance of intercultural relationship?
Valuing: 10 minutes Activity: “Personal Story Telling”
Direction: The learners will be form in circle and let them share their
experiences on intercultural relationship.
