LOVE AND FAITH:
*I want to tell you that IT IS SO UNTO THE PEOPLE WHO DO
NOT LOVE YOU, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING YOU
SAY TO BE TRUE. EVEN IF THEY KNOW THAT TO BE THE
TRUTH THEY WILL CONTINUE TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS BY
UNDERRATING YOU.
The death and resurrection was not within two days and two
nights as the mortification of the flesh could not be
accepted as having been two days and two nights. The
worldly people are wrong in their calculations. They may tell
you that he died on Friday, and if you continue with this
mathematics through Sunday, it would be seen that Christ's
interment was for only two days. But if you start from
Thursday and count the days and nights according to the
Jewish tradition, you will get the simple mathematics
correct.
The April Pentecostal does not come about as a result
of our own volition, but rather, because we are rejoicing and
jubilating with the death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus
Christ. This is continuous and so shall it remain. When this
was first published in the Herald of the New Kingdom, our
official organ, the worldly people became sad and troubled
and even doubted the authenticity of our claims, but I want
to tell you that IT IS SO UNTO THE PEOPLE WHO DO NOT
LOVE YOU, THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT ANYTHING YOU SAY
TO BE TRUE. EVEN IF THEY KNOW THAT TO BE THE TRUTH

THEY WILL CONTINUE TO HURT YOUR FEELINGS BY
UNDERRATING YOU. This is true for the blind cannot speak
good of anything. In the same vein, another child cannot rub
your back down to the toes. Our doctrines and practices are
therefore in keeping with the established precepts of old.
We do not mortify the flesh for carnal or material wealth, but
we are doing this in commemoration of the death of and
resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ. We do not observe it
because of the need to get money, children, cars, or houses.
The duration of your call into this kingdom notwithstanding,
even if you are a day old child, you must continue to mortify
the flesh. That is why Christ told His disciples that except
one is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
Whoever is in the flesh cannot be reborn. You must mortify
the flesh so as to be in spirit.

Excerpt from the gospel: HOW TO BECOME A SPIRITUAL GIANT

TO LOVE AND TO OBEY IS ONE AND THE SAME THING:
If you love any person you will listen to whatsoever the
person says. You will obey the person. If you love any person
you will comply with whatever that person tells you to do. If
you are told to crawl on the floor you will obey; if somebody
tells you go there you will go because you love the person
and that is why you submit to the person. It is said children
obey your father and your mother, and you parents must love
your children. (Eph 6:1) To obey your father and your mother
means you should love them. If you comply, it means that
the person you obey is the person you love. And invariably,
to love your children means to obey your children, because
when you love any person it stands to reason that you have
surrendered yourself completely to such a person, and do all
his bidding. Note that it does not mean that you should go
and oppress your children, or kill them. The Father or the
Holy Spirit has come in force to liberate the oppressed.

WIVES SHOULD SUBMIT TO THEIR HUSBANDS
AND HUSBANDS SHOULD LOVE THEIR WIVES:
God said that a woman should submit to her husband and
the husband should love his wife? (Colossians 3:18-19/
Ephesians 5:22-25) What is the difference in this case? It is
one and the same thing. It could be looked at as "love" and
"charity". Somebody who is just a beginner in English
language might think that there is some difference between
the word "love" and "charity". But in the real sense of it, the
two words mean one and the same thing. The fact remains
that they are synonyms. THIS EXPLAINS WHY, WHEN THE
WHITE MEN ARE HOLDING THEIR MEETINGS, ALL
DISCUSSIONS AND DELIBERATIONS ARE DONE IN THE
FRENCH LANGUAGE, AND THE PROCEEDINGS AT THE
MEETING WILL BE DOCUMENTED IN FRENCH TOO. THIS IS
BECAUSE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE IS COMPLICATED AND
FULL OF AMBIGUITIES SUCH THAT ONE WORD COULD
POSSIBLY MEAN MANY THINGS.
It is said that wives should submit to their husbands. And
this means that wives should love their husbands. Before
you could submit to any person it means you love that
person. And therefore submitting to someone means loving
that person. And on the other hand the husbands have been
told to love their wives. And what does loving the wives
mean? If you love any person it means you will submit to
that person. If you love your wives it means you will submit
to them as well. The two situations mean one and the same

thing. And in the other way round, it means that wives
should love their husbands, and husbands should submit to
their wives. Have you not heard what Christ said? That any
person who loves me will keep my commandment and my
Father will love him; and we should come and dwell with
him. (John 14:23)

DO AWAY WITH CRITICISMS BECAUSE WE ARE OF ONE
FATHER:
OUR DUTY IS TO SPREAD THE WORD OF GOD. THIS GREAT
COMMISSION IS LIMITLESS. THERE IS NO BLACK OR WHITE
OR COLORED MAN. THERE IS NO GREAT OR SMALL MAN,
THERE IS NO FREE OR BOND, WE ARE ALL ONE. ONE MAN
FOR ONE JOB. THERE IS NOBODY WHO IS GREATER THAN
ANY OTHER PERSON IN THIS KINGDOM.
It is not wise for you to criticize somebody because God has
created him to be short, and the other person is a dwarf; or
that the other person is so thin or tall. This is erroneous. All
of you are the same before the sight of God. This is because
heaven and earth and the fullness thereof belong to God. All
the human beings are owned by God. We have only one
Father. He is the Father of all the males, females, and the
Father of all the trees, He is Father of all the animals and
indeed the Father of all creations. Let our first lesson be
read. Listen attentively so that when you are preaching the
word of God you will not say what you do not know.

MARRIAGE
YOUR TRUE IDENTITY:
A MAN OF GOD IS NOT IDENTIFIED BY THE FINE CLOTHES
HE PUTS ON, THE BEAUTIFUL HOUSE HE LIVES IN OR THE
EXPENSIVE FOOD HE EATS BUT THROUGH PRACTICING
THE TEACHINGS OF CHRIST OUR LORD JESUS.
Christ had rightly said: “He that is not with me is against me:
and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad.”
(Matthew 12:30). If you go outside to preach the word of God
and someone refuses to allow you to enter his house, such a
person is against us. He is the type that scatters abroad,
instead of gathering. BUT WHOEVER RECEIVES YOU AND
ACCEPTS THE WORD OF GOD IS WITH US AND SUCH A
PERSON GATHERS WITH US. DO NOT ARGUE THAT HE IS
NOT A BROTHERHOOD. IF HE IS NOT A BROTHERHOOD
WHAT ELSE IS HE? IT IS EVEN THE OUTSIDERS WHO NOW
ADMONISH MEMBERS OF BROTHERHOOD ABOUT THE
FATHER'S DIVINE TEACHINGS. If you as a member of
Brotherhood fail to abide by the teachings of Christ, how
would the outsiders come in? If in a family where the
husband is a baptized member of Brotherhood and the wife
is not, but she does not fail to give the husband food in time,
renders other services to the husband and does not prevent

the husband from rendering his services to God, it will be
wrong for the husband to claim that his wife is not a
Brotherhood. Frankly speaking, such a wife is a Brotherhood
since she does not debar her husband from attending
Brotherhood activities. Therefore, anyone who does not
receive this teaching and does not put same into practice is
working against Brotherhood. Put it differently, one’s
position and title in this kingdom notwithstanding, if he or
she does not practice the Father’s teaching such a person is
disuniting Brotherhood of the Cross and Star instead of
uniting it. And anyone who scatters the fold is against God.
IN OTHER WORDS, THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE YET TO GET
BAPTIZED INTO THE KINGDOM BUT ABIDE BY THE
INJUNCTIONS OF THE FATHER ARE THE BONAFIDE
MEMBERS OF BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS AND STAR.
ANYONE WHO ABIDES BY THE INJUNCTIONS OF THE
FATHER IS RIGHTEOUS AND AN INDIGENE OF THE FOLD OF
BROTHERHOOD.

THE ORIGIN OF THE ENGAGEMENT RING

PRAY TO GOD TO REVEAL YOUR WIFE:
INSTEAD OF BRIDE-PRICE SHOW A THANKFUL HEART:
When Sarah died, Abraham sent a messenger to go to the
land of Israel to bring a wife unto his son Isaac. Before he
left, he was given so many things as presents: gold,
chariots, money, and many other things. THIS ERRAND-BOY
ON HIS WAY PRAYED THAT GOD SHOULD REVEAL
WHOSOEVER WILL BE THE WIFE OF ISAAC TO HIM. THAT
THE VERY FIRST GIRL HE WOULD MEET AND ASK HER TO
GIVE HIM WATER FOR HIS CATTLE, ANY GIRL WHO WOULD
RESPOND, WILL DEFINITELY BE THE ONE.
IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PRAYERS, HE STOOD UP. AS HE
WAS APPROACHING A WELL, HE SAW REBECCA AND ASKED
REBECCA TO GIVE HIM WATER FOR THE CATTLE. She
agreed and handed the bucket freely to the errand-boy and
even fetched him more water. THE MESSENGER BECAME
THEN CONVINCED THAT SHE WAS THE WIFE OF ISAAC, AND
SO GAVE HER THE RING. THAT WAS THE ORIGIN OF
ENGAGEMENT RING. You go to a goldsmith to prepare
something for you and you wear it on your finger. The
engagement ring is one of the things the world takes pride
in, putting on of engagement ring to go church for weddings.
Take note that he had prayed for God to reveal the wife to
him. It was then that Rebecca was revealed to him. WHAT
ABOUT YOU, HAVE YOU PRAYED GOD TO REVEAL THE
TYPE OF WIFE YOU SHOULD MARRY? You meet a woman in

the ball-room, dance hall, cinema theater, school and some
other random place and you decide to marry.
PRAY TO GOD TO REVEAL YOUR WIFE:
When the messenger reached the house, the people wanted
to entertain him, but he told them that he was not prepared
to eat yet until he had told them the message he was sent
there by the master to deliver. After discussing, they
ordered the girl Rebecca to be brought and immediately she
was told what information the messenger had brought, she
accepted to marry Isaac. The parents did not say this or that
amount should be paid. The errand-boy opened the bag and
brought out so many things : gold, silver, clothes. Abraham
was a very rich man and so he sent along many things. Right
now that you are preparing engagement rings and giving
them to one girl or the other, have you imitated the ways of
Abraham? That thankful heart, have you got a thankful
heart? Have you passed it on to your father-in-law.
LAND SHOULD NOT BE SOLD:
In the same token, when Sarah died, Abraham went to his
people to sell to him a piece of land so that he can use it in
burying his wife. The people said that he was a Priest and a
very important personality and that he does not have to pay
anything for the land. Since the land belonged to them he
could use any part he wanted. He pleaded with them that
the land be sold to him. But somebody said the land he
wants to use would cost so much but they did not intend to

sell it to him. Since Abraham was a big man he could have
the land for free. And so Abraham brought out the "So much"
and gave to them to show appreciation of what they had
done for him. He received that land free, and he had to give
them presents free.

NEGATION OF THE FATHER’S TEACHINGS:
One Brother K. E. Bassey (Pastor) testified that a new
member who came here, 34 Ambo Street, Calabar, recently,
rightly observed that the way and manner which members
conduct themselves in the hall is surprising. That, as soon
as the first blessing is over, members troop out of the hall.
He added that what he could deduce from their attitude is
that, they are completely ignorant of what Brotherhood is.
This is the reason why the whole world is accusing you of
NOT emulating your Father. PEOPLE ELSEWHERE ARE
USING THE FATHER’S TEACHINGS TO BETTER THEIR LIVES.
BUT MANY MEMBERS IN THE KINGDOM FLOUT THESE
TEACHINGS AT WILL AND THEREBY ATTRACT PROBLEMS
TO THEMSELVES. The Father enjoins everyone not to fight,
struggle, quarrel, segregate, fornicate among other sinful

acts. But man refuses to abide by these injunctions, rather
he relishes in doing evil acts. On the other hand, the non
members hear these injunctions and put them into practice.
Who then are those who help the Father to gather? Who is
for the Father and who is against the Father? Above all, who
loves the Father, between these two groups. THE FATHER
ENJOINS US TO AVOID FORNICATION BUT TO RESTRICT
OURSELVES TO ONE MAN ONE WIFE, THAT IS TO PRACTICE
MONOGAMY AS GOD’S INJUNCTION. ALTERNATIVE TO THIS
IS CELIBACY. BUT THE MEMBERS DO NOT ABIDE BY THIS
INJUNCTION. What then is the essence of your claim to be
in Brotherhood of the Cross and Star for twenty years? You
resist God’s will by doing the direct opposite of His divine
injunctions. There are many pastors who divorce their wives
at the slightest provocation which could otherwise be
amicably resolved. These same people would stop at
nothing to be engaged in unwholesome affairs with
Deaconesses and Choristers. In the same vein, it is not
uncommon to see some Deaconesses and Prophetesses
getting on with younger men thereby defiling their marital
homes. These are the people who profess to be members of
Brotherhood of the Cross and Star. Whose teachings do they
practice? When John saw someone who was casting out
demons in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, he forbade the
man and later reported the incident to our Lord Jesus Christ,
thinking that, he was doing a good thing. But to his surprise
our Lord Jesus Christ said to him, “Forbid him not: for he
that is not against us is for us.” (Luke 9:50).

OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS SENT HERE ON EARTH AS
THE WORD.
Our Lord Jesus Christ promised to send a Comforter who will
teach and lead us to the accurate knowledge of the truth.
The fancy preachers of Christendom graduate without the
Holy Spirit, and as such cannot teach, heal or change any
sinner to righteousness.
Matthew 23 verse 8,says:"But be not ye called Rabbi: for
one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren."
Who in the whole world believes and accepts that all
mankind are brethren?
WE ARE BROTHERS AND SISTERS:
There are some church-goers who do exhibit an indifferent
spirit when you call them` brother or sister,' and more so
when you greet them by the Lord's method,`peace.' Such
ones will rebuke you and will not respond. These are still in
ignorance and not knowing that all mankind descended from
Adam and Eve and as such we are all brethren. Of course no
one will teach you this truth except the Holy Spirit.

Look up 1st. John Chapter 2 verse 27:
"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in
you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the
same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and
is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in
him."
There you have it! It is only the Holy Spirit that must
teach you and no one else. Who is this Holy Spirit? He is the
Almighty God. Our Lord Jesus Christ said,Ì and my Father
are one.' Christ is never separated from the Father. In John
10 verse 30, this oneness is confirmed:Ì and my Father are
one.'
Who is the Father? Who then is the Son, and who is the
Holy Spirit? John 1 verses 1-4 says: "In the beginning was
the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was
God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things
were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made
that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of
men."
WHO THEN IS THE WORD? GOD IS THE WORD. CHRIST IS
WORD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE WORD. THEREFORE
THEY ARE INDIVISIBLE. THE FATHER HAS COME; HE IS THE
WORD, AND THE WORD BECOMES FLESH AND DWELLS
AMONG MANKIND. THE WORLD HAS NOT RECOGNIZED NOR
HAVE PEOPLE ACCEPTED HIM AS THE WORD. WAS CHRIST
NOT JUSTIFIED TO SAY Ì AND MY FATHER ARE ONE?'

WHO THEN IS IN YOUR MIDST TODAY? IS HE NOT THAT
SAME WORD THAT WAS IN THE BEGINNING? ALL THINGS
CAME FROM HIM.
Now read 1st.John chapter 5, verses 7-8:
" For there are three that bear record in heaven:THE
FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT AND THESE
THREE ARE ONE. AND THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR
WITNESS ON EARTH, THE SPIRIT, THE WATER, AND THE
BLOOD;AND THESE THREE ARE ONE."
The water, spirit and blood are the make-up of a human
being. If any of them is lacking in a person, that person is
dead. Therefore, when God as the WORD, wants to become
flesh, He takes blood and spirit and dwells among his
creation as a human being. The Holy Spirit now in you
consists of water, blood and spirit. That is why you have the
senses to see Him as a human being.
THE HEALING POWER IN BROTHERHOOD OF THE CROSS
AND STAR:
Three things are used in healing in Brotherhood of the
Cross and Star. They are: Water, Holy Oil and the Word. The
Holy Oil is the blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The Word is
God. Once these three things are applied to a sick person,
he must become restored. That is why the fanatics term
Brotherhood to be a magic church. Compare your body
functions to that of a car: the car requires water, oil and

petrol in order to operate and if any of these things is
lacking, it may become damaged. So also the body.
The words that proceed out of the mouth of a Brotherhood
on a sick person becomes water, blood and spirit; a healing
and a soothing balm to the sick. The WORD becomes spirit
and gives life to the dead, supplying all your requirements.
Read John 3 verse 34:
"For he whom God had sent speakest the words of God: for
God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him."
OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST WAS SENT HERE ON EARTH AS
THE WORD. He became flesh and dwelt among men. During
His baptism by John the Baptist, a voice came out from
heaven saying: "This is my beloved son in whom I am well
pleased, hear ye him." Did the world not kill him? Now the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit have come in person, what would
you say?

THE GLORY OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD
What you see here is the glory of the kingdom of God. All of
us here are one. Here we have no woman, no man, no slave,

no citizen, no rich, no poor. Everybody is equal and linked
with this spirit of love. This kingdom of God does not belong
to the blacks alone, neither does it belong to the whites
alone. It is not for Africa alone neither is it for Europe alone.
It belongs to the entire creation of God: the fishes in the
waters, the birds of the air, the animals in the bush, human
beings, trees, and what have you. THE HEADQUARTERS OF
THIS NEW KINGDOM IS NOT IN BIAKPAN, NOR IS IT IN
CALABAR, CROSS RIVER STATE, NIGERIA, OR AFRICA, OR
EVEN IN THE WESTERN OR EASTERN WORLDS. THE
HEADQUARTERS IS IN YOU, IT IS LOVE; AND WE ALL ARE IN
THAT LOVE. REMEMBER THE GOSPEL WHICH SAYS, “WE
ARE WAITING FOR A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH,
WHEREIN DWELLETH RIGHTEOUSNESS.”(2 Peter 3:13)
Now it is righteousness that rules the entire creation of
God. Whatever rank you hold here or in any other
denomination, (whether you are an elder, a Pastor, Bishop,
or an Apostle), REMEMBER THAT IT IS ONLY THE HOLY
SPIRIT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS THAT TAKE DOMINION OVER
ALL THE CREATIONS OF GOD.

1TI 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the
only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
THE NEED FOR LOVE:
I preach love to you everyday, because it is the pivot upon
which every other virtue revolves. That is to say, without
love, you are blind, deaf, lame, dumb, and dead. LOVE IS
THE HOLY SPIRIT, (THAT SPIRIT THAT QUICKENETH). It is
inevitable that we seek for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit
abhors hatred, lies, stealing, quarrelling, drinking, smoking,
robust fornication, and every form of vice. This explains why
He said, "MY CHILD, IF YOU COULD GIVE ME YOUR HEART
AND LOVE ME, I WOULD USE SAME AS MY TEMPLE
WHEREIN I WOULD ABIDE." The question now is, do you love
Him? Have you given your heart to Him?
THERE IS NO ONE PARTICULAR LOCATION IN THE WORLD
WHERE ONE GOES TO FIND THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE SPIRITS
YOU FIND PARTICULARLY IN THE CHURCHES ARE
DEVILISH AND CORRUPT SPIRITS. ONE DOES NOT NEED TO
GO ABROAD TO OBTAIN THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE HOLY
SPIRIT IS NOT LIMITED TO NIGERIA ALONE... HE IS
EVERYWHERE. THE ONLY THING THAT ATTRACTS THE
HOLY SPIRIT TO YOU IS LOVE. HE IS THE BEGINNING AND
THE END, AND THE RESERVOIR OF WISDOM, POWER,
PROSPERITY, AND ETERNAL LIFE. IF YOU ARE TOLD THERE

IS ANY PERSON IN THE WORLD, WHO DISTRIBUTES THE
HOLY SPIRIT, DO NOT BELIEVE IT. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS NOT
APPROPRIATED BY ANY MAN, BUT IT IS ACQUIRED BY AN
INDIVIDUAL THROUGH THE EXPRESSION OF LOVE. IT IS
FOR THIS REASON PAUL SAID HE COUNTED EVERYTHING
BUT LOSS, SO THAT HE MAY OWN CHRIST, AND THE
EXCELLENCY OF HIS WISDOM. (Philippians Chapter 3 verse
8).
WHO IS IT THAT SEEKS AFTER THE HOLY SPIRIT? IF ANY
ONE SEEKS FOR HIM, SUCH A PERSON WILL NOT SEEK FOR
HUMAN FAVORS, AND WILL NOT WANT TO BE PRAISED OR
LOVED BY MAN. AND THAT PERSON, WHO HAS LOVE WILL
ALWAYS WANT TO SERVE, BE HUMBLE, MEEK, MERCIFUL
AND PATIENT.
It is love that does all the work in this kingdom. No work
here is done by any man, woman, money or power. HE IS
NOT IDENTIFIED WITH ANY PARTICULAR COLOR, OR
STATURE. He is black, dark-skinned, light-skinned, white
and red. He is equally tall, short, robust, thin, beautiful, and
ugly. He is lightning, thunder, water, air, mountain, wind,
tree, ant, among other things. Can you imagine how long the
Holy Spirit has been on earth with man, but He is only now
being revealed? HE HAS COME AS THE FATHER, SON, AND
THE HOLY GHOST.
Some people are trying to differentiate between the King of
Kings and the Holy Queen Mother. Others say they do not
know anyone else but the Holy Father. All these people are

blind and sick in the head. Except your eyes are opened to
behold HIM, you will continue to be blind and sick to death.
It is only when your eyes are opened you can see clearly,
and be able to discern THE FATHER IS HERE, THE SON IS
HERE, AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS HERE.

I PREACH AND PRACTICE THE WORD OF GOD
Golden Text: Revelation 5:13
"And every creature which is in heaven, and on earth, and
under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are
in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and
power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto
the Lamb for ever and ever."
Brethren, have you heard what is read to you? Why do you
not possess such a thankful heart? Why are you not aware
that He has conquered, and that you have conquered also? It
has been written that as by one man's disobedience many
were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many
be made righteous. (Rom 5:19). GOD DOES NOT SAVE YOU
BY YOUR OWN SELF BUT THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS

CHRIST. IT WAS FOR HIS SAKE ALONE THAT PEOPLE WERE
SAVED, BECAUSE HE WAS THE ONLY PERSON WHO
OPENED THE BOOK AND READ THE CONTENTS OF IT. As
long as He has the ability to open the Book of Life, and read
the contents of the Book because He was slain, and so the
voice bellowed, that all creatures in heaven and on earth
and under the earth and in the sea, saying: "let blessing, and
honor, and glory, and power be unto Him who sits upon the
Throne and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. Amen."
Who Shall I Send, Who Will Go For Me?
Remember that God had said in Isaiah, "whom shall I send,
and who will go for us? (Isaiah 6:8). But both the heaven and
the earth were quite silent. All the angels, the Cherubim and
Seraphim were quiet. IT WAS ONLY OUR LORD JESUS
CHRIST WHO INDICATED HIS WILLINGNESS TO GO; AND SO
HE ACCEPTED TO OFFER HIMSELF AS A SUPREME
SACRIFICE FOR THE REDEMPTION AND SALVATION OF THE
WORLD. He was the person who said, "I, Here am I, send
Me." After that declaration by Our Lord Jesus Christ, another
aspect of the heavenly situation is revealed in Revelation
Chapter Five where John the Divine said he saw a strong
angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "who is worthy to open
the Book, that small Book, and to loose the seals and
contents?" The heavens were again quiet, and no man in
heaven nor in the earth, neither under the earth was able to
open the Book, neither to look thereon. And John the Divine

said he wept because no man was found worthy to open and
to read the Book, neither to look thereon.
Only The Lion Of The Tribe Of Judah Could Open The Book
And one of the elders consoled him saying: "Weep not,
behold the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, the root of David has
prevailed to open the Book, and to loose the seven seals
thereof and to read the contents. Of a truth the Lion
emerged, and opened the Book removing the seals (Rev 5:5)
and read the contents. That explains why it was declared
that every creature in heaven and on earth and under the
earth and such as are in the sea and all that are in them join
their voices saying: "Let blessing, and honor, and glory and
power be unto Him that sits upon the Throne and unto the
Lamb for ever and ever." If He did not prevail to open the
Book and read the content, the world would have perished.
The Small Book Symbolizes The Bible
He has imparted His Teachings, doctrines and lessons from
Genesis to Revelation of John the Divine, but is there any
person who is able to practice the lessons? The little Book
is the Bible we read everyday. See the whites with their high
education and wisdom? Who among them can practice the
Word of God? Mention one of them. No person is able to
practice the contents of the Bible. And if the whites cannot
practice, will the Blacks do it? Can a black man with a black
heart and black vision practice the contents of the Bible?
Our Lord Jesus Christ says: "I am the Way, the Life and the

Truth; and no person comes to the Father except by Me.
(John 14:6). Your joy is not full. You are very insolent when
you claim to have done anything. From where have you
derived the power? Who has given you the ability? Can you
open the Book and read the contents of it?
That small Book which Daniel was ordered to close ("But
thou O, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the Book even to
the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and
knowledge shall be increased," (Dan 12:4) could not be
opened, and it is only at this fullness of time that the Lion of
the Tribe of Judah, has prevailed to open the Book. Mention
any one in the world who has practiced one of the Teachings
in the Book? There is none. He has said every time, "love
your enemies, pray fervently for them. If somebody slaps you
on one cheek, turn to him the other. Do not resist an evil
doer. (Matt 5:44). Love one another (John 13:34) as you love
yourself, and many others." Mention one person who has
practiced these lessons. Think that it is so simple to
practicalize the Word of God?
Olumba Olumba Obu, The Lion Of Judah
You will take note that I am neither Adam, nor Abraham, nor
Moses, nor Elijah, nor John the Baptist, nor Jesus, nor Peter,
nor John, nor Paul. BUT I AM THAT I AM. HAVE I NOT
PRACTICED THE WORD OF GOD? I have opened the Book. I
have closed and reopened it. I have emptied it and turned it
upside down. I have revealed the contents. I have practiced
and I have taught you. What then remains? Every person has

testified that the Leader preaches the real Word of God,
practices the Word, and that He is a real man of God. YES,
THAT IS MY QUALIFICATION. But search throughout the
world and mention any person who can open and read and
practice the content of the little Book.
Adam came to the world, married a wife but because of
fornication both of them fell out of the grace of God. Both
John the Baptist and Our Lord Jesus Christ came and had no
wives, and yet could not practice the Word of God. BUT I
COME WITH BROTHERS, SISTERS AND EVERY OTHER
THING, BUT I AM ABLE TO PRACTICE THE WORD TO THE
SATISFACTION OF EVERYBODY. Somebody going to remain
at a place for a short time goes with only a briefcase. But a
person who goes to live in a place as his final home must go
there bag and baggage.
He Who Believes In Me Shall Do Greater Works (John 14:12)
Our Lord Jesus Christ had only 12 disciples, but consider
our present situation where there are disciples in all States
of the Federation and in India, Britain, America, Ghana,
Liberia, Cameroon, and many other places. What do you
think about that sort of man? Is there any act of sin you
have not committed, and has any person reprimanded you?
Do you have any problems since your sojourn in this
Kingdom? If you carry any of the equipment away, no person
will prevent you from carrying it away. You will be
encouraged to take it and the next. It will be replaced by

many similar property. When you find yourself in such a
situation, will you not be weak and discouraged?
Lazarus died and Our Lord Jesus Christ wept. If you compare
the situation with what happens in this Kingdom, would you
say that my eyes would ever be dry of tears as a result of
the number of people who die from day to day? When He
preached to people, those who did not repent He cursed and
pronounced woe on them. (Matt 11:21). Today the Word of
God is preached to the people that they should refrain from
sin. But you stay before Me and steal, and quarrel, and fight.
Have you ever been suspended or punished? He took a whip
in the temple and walloped those who bought and sold and
changed in the temple. Of course, He was correct to have
done that because He was the Son of God, and God Himself,
and so He made no mistake. There is no mistake with God. I
am only pointing out to you the Teaching He Himself has set
out.
I Preach And Practice The Word Of God
Go and take your Bible and open from Genesis to
Revelation. You will discover that I have overworked myself.
I have bisected the contents of the Bible. I have turned it
upside down, and I have practiced all the Words nominate in
the Bible. I am not the Christ. I am not God, nor am I John,
nor the Prophet, nor an Elder, nor any other thing. I am
neither a man nor an apparition. BUT ONE THING I KNOW IS
THAT I HAVE PREACHED THE WORD OF GOD, AND I HAVE
IMPARTED THIS GOSPEL OF GOD TO THE ENTIRE WORLD. IF

THERE IS ANY PERSON IN THIS WORLD OR IN ANOTHER
WORLD WHO SAYS HE CAN PRACTICE THE WORD OF GOD
LET HIM COME OUT AND SHOW HIMSELF. IF THERE IS ANY
PERSON, WHETHER AN ANGEL OR SPIRIT OR AN
APPARITION BRING HIM TO ME.
HAVE I EVER SUSPENDED ANY MEMBER, OR HAVE I EVER
CURSED ANY PERSON? HAVE I EVER EXPELLED YOU?
WHATEVER HAS HAPPENED, I ONLY EMBRACE YOU, NO
MATTER WHAT YOU COMMIT; BECAUSE THE WORD OF GOD
DIRECTS THAT I SHOULD EMBRACE SUCH A PERSON SINCE
I AM ENJOINED NOT TO RESIST AN EVILDOER. What about
you? Have you not been resisting the evildoer? If you feel it
is that simple, demonstrate it to the notice of people. A
great many of you have remained here for more than twenty
(20) years, and you have been advised to refrain from theft,
fornication, exasperation, falsehood; but you have not
refrained from these, or to forsake sin and not to begrudge
any person. Have you been able to refrain from sin in order
to practice the Word of God?
Boast Not In Carnal Things
I do not boast in money. I have no money. I have nothing;
BUT I BOAST IN PRACTICING THE WORD OF GOD. I WOULD
LIKE TO TELL YOU CATEGORICALLY THAT I HAVE OPENED
THAT LITTLE BOOK. I HAVE READ THE CONTENTS, I HAVE
PRACTICED THE WORDS, AND I HAVE TAUGHT OTHERS TO
PRACTICE THEM, AND I HAVE REVEALED EVERY SECRET
THING TO YOU. THAT IS WHAT WAS WRITTEN ABOUT ME,

AND THAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR WHICH I CAME. The Bible
says: "Sell all you have, and distribute the money to the
poor;" (Matt 19:21) and you think that the statement was a
parable. Who tells you it was a parable? It is no parable. It is
nothing but the truth. You should go and sell all that you
have. There is no joke about this. Refrain from theft,
falsehood, fornication, quarrelling, and other acts of sin.
Forsake all your ways of life, your behaviors and
idiosyncracies. Forsake your house, clothes, motor cars,
wife, husband, children and indeed your life. Otherwise you
are not worthy of this Kingdom. Again, it is said, if any man
come to Me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife
and children, and brethren and sister; yea, and his own life
also, he cannot be My disciple. (Luke 14:26). The golden text
should be a source of happiness and joy to you. You should
rejoice, indeed all the elements do rejoice. Heaven is
rejoicing and earth is rejoicing except man. It is a truism
that man should rejoice because the little Book has been
opened and read, and the contents practiced, and the same
imparted to you. The implication is that all of you are saved.
I do not mince Word that you will be saved, but that you are
saved, except there is a child of perdition in your midst.
With The Reading Of The Book You Are Saved
God did not covenant that He will through two persons save
the world. BUT HE SAID HE WOULD THROUGH ONE PERSON
SAVE THE WORLD. (Rom 5:19). As long as somebody has
opened and read the small Book, if you believe in the fellow

who can read the Book, then you are saved. You become
free, whether or not you put the Word of God into practice.
Since someone has successfully opened and read the Book,
you are entirely free. There is no other Book from where you
can read and get salvation. You have however remained
here for 20 to 40 years, and yet cannot practice the Gospel,
but you are free, since the small Book has been opened and
read.
I am not the person reading but the Father, Our Lord Jesus
Christ. But you do not see Him. He opens, removes the
seals, reads the contents and practices them. But you do
not see Him. We should glorify the Father and magnify His
Name. We should no longer ask questions. Do not be sad and
sorrowful. Do not doubt God who has revealed Himself to
you and the entire world.
Out Of The Fullness Of The Heart The Mouth Speaks (Matt
12:34)
Many of you stand before people and declare that the
Father is the Lord Jesus Christ incarnate. When you do this,
has any person disturbed you? You have stood before people
in the street and market place and declared that the Father
is the Almighty God. No person asks any questions. Have
you remembered that Our Lord Jesus Christ only declared
that He was the Son of God, and the people killed Him? But
today you declare that the Leader is Our Lord Jesus Christ,
or He is God. No person asks any question. None raises an
eyebrow. Another person will rise up and declare Him as the

Almighty God who made heaven and earth. But no person
will bandy words with him. Now there are three which bear
witness in heaven. They are the Father, the Word, and the
Spirit. All three agree.(1 John 5:7).
He Has A Name No One Else Knows (Rev 19:12)
Now if you ever say that the Leader is Jesus Christ, those
who look at you will register a dirty slap on your cheek, and
would tell you that He is the Almighty God, and Our Lord
Jesus Christ is only His Son. Here also we have another
school of thought which claims Him as Christ incarnate. He
has come back; and they are very firm in what they believe.
Others here also claim that He is not the Christ but the Holy
Spirit, the Comforter, which Our Lord Jesus Christ promised
He would send. Those who hold this belief are very strong,
that no matter how strong the wind, the stone will not be
moved; come rain, come sunshine.
Who is the Father? Is He not the Son? And who is the Holy
Spirit? Is He not the Son? Then what is your argument? This
equation will actually prove the point. 0+0+0=0; 0-0-0=0. Why
do you bother yourself unnecessarily? Some refer to Him as
a wonderful man. What is the meaning of your argument?
The answer is still the nought.
To Obey Is Better Than Sacrifice (1 Sam 15:22)
Moses truly said unto our fathers, a prophet shall the Lord
your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me,
Him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever He shall say unto

you. (Acts 3:22) And it shall come to pass that every soul
which will not hear that prophet shall be destroyed from
amongst the people. If therefore you argue that he is a
prophet, it is still the same thing. It is the same "O". If you
call Him a wonderful man it still serves the nought. If you
call Him a man of God, it is still the same nought. Call Him
Bishop or Pastor or Apostle, it is still the same. What you
will go away with is that we all should rejoice because in
God all of us are saved and redeemed. Do not be sad and
sorrowful that you are alone without relations; or that you
are lost or that the country is not auguring well. Since the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit have come down to this
earth at this end of time, the whole world is saved. The only
proviso is that you should not indulge in any act of sin. If you
have been a thief, a liar, a murderer, a whoremonger,
abstain yourself from the vices because the owner of the
vineyard has come. He dwells in our bodies. We have a guide
always. Wherever He sends you do not disobey. Wherever He
takes you to, follow and do not doubt because, being His
instrument, He can take us to any place. The world will be
bamboozled for what He will do with the world. Do not ask
for anything, but glorify Him. Give Him thanks in all things.
This is the time for everything to thank Him, glorify Him and
serve Him.
Brethren, I do not intend to be tedious unto you. One stroke
of the cane is sufficient for the wise. Those who have ears
let them hear. May God bless His Words. Amen.
