1. The Magnitude of Nothing
Text: John 15:5
5) I am the vine, ye are the branches:
He that abideth in me,
and I in him,
the same bringeth forth much fruit:
for without me ye can do nothing.

2. The branch can’t bring forth fruit
because “without me ye can do
nothing”.
There is much man does, and can do,
with out Christ; but there is nothing
productive, from God’s point of view,
that a man can do outside of Christ, that
is productive.

3. I. Punishment- John 15:6

6) If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as
a branch, and is withered; and men gather them,
and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
No abiding= no fruit, no life, no eternal
bliss.

“Thy mother”, is the people or nation of
Israel.

wilderness, in a dry and thirsty ground.

rule. This is a lamentation, and shall be for a
lamentation.

The Son of man shall send forth his angels,
and they shall gather out of his kingdom all
things that offend, and them which do
iniquity;

abide in my love; even as I have kept my
Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Persistence in dedicated purpose.

more and more.

But to do good and to communicate forget

command you.

If ye were of the world, the world would
love his own: but because ye are not of the
world, but I have chosen you out of the
world, therefore the world hateth you.

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen
you, and ordained you, that ye should go
and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit
should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask
of the Father in my name, he may give it
you.
It is the fruit of the Spirit the must remain in
you and is a governor for receiving what you
ask for.

13. John 17:14
I have given them thy word; and the world
hath hated them, because they are not of the
world, even as I am not of the world.
Jas 4:4
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not
that the friendship of the world is enmity
with God? whosoever therefore will be a
friend of the world is the enemy of God.
Rom 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against
God: for it is not subject to the law of God,
neither indeed can be.
A subject is the citizen of a country.
Your fleshly desires are considered dead and
unredeemable, they will not appear in the
world to come.

14. 1John 2:15
Love not the world, neither the things that
are in the world. If any man love the world,
the love of the Father is not in him.
Col 3:3-4
3) For ye are dead, and your life is hid with
Christ in God.
4) When Christ, who is our life, shall
appear, then shall ye also appear with him in
glory.
