Participants will develop an entire integrated lesson on a particular TEK or topic. The lesson will include a variety of resources, all of which can be accessed on the iPad, that focus on the differentiation of learning, both process and product, for each student. (Note: This is an intermediate level course. Participants should already be familiar with the basics of iPad use.)

The university-wide Events Calendar utilizes SalesForce through the TargetX events module to standardize all university event listings into one cohesive, living, breathing catalog, with the primary goal of keeping students, faculty, and staff connected and collectively up to date on events that are taking place on campus. The event module product enables events to be created in one place and promoted through multiple venues (e.g. the FlashLine Portal, KSU website, various department web pages). For users, the new Events Calendar is customizable, depending on preferences they can set for themselves. The FLASHperks program, which awards students with points each time they attend a university-sponsored event, becomes a staple feature of the product. Data collected from students' attendance at FLASHperks designated events enables the system to also be utilized as an assessment tool. The three groups of users for the program include students attending the events, event hosts (university departments and student organizations), and the FLASHperks administration staff. FLASHperks uses Marketing Cloud for a one-time data extension which sends the welcome email to students and utilizes email templates for weekly event updates. We created a custom subscription center to allow students to manage their subscription to the FLASHperks program and communications.
