William Owen organized a group to create a thriller film called "Hollow Oak". He set roles for concept, treatment, storyboards and script. Owen created and uploaded a treatment for "Hidden Oak" after researching thriller conventions. He also uploaded casting and crew lists, and two attempts at a shooting schedule. Owen helped film on April 16-17, playing a main character and assisting as cinematographer. On April 29, he and Zali Wright uploaded 10 minutes of establishing shots. Later, tips from their teacher were uploaded to improve the film. Owen then updated the treatment with more detailed shots.

March 25 2015 Created and uploaded treatment
for ‘Hidden Oak’. This took quite a
while and I had to heavily
research different thriller codes
and conventions from movies like
Vertigo and Shutter Island. These
helped me get some ideas I want
to somehow merge into our film.

about our specific acting and

April 16 - 17 2015 Filming, helped shoot and was
actor. This was a very fun
weekend. I helped with many of
the shots, being the
cinematographer and giving my
point of view on how we should
do things. I was also critical to the
plot, with me playing one of the
main characters. I felt I was
especially helpful with my
contributions during this time.

2. April 29 2015 10 mins of establishing shots
uploaded. I took lots of the shots
we planned to use in our film, and
edited them into a 10 minute
sequence for this. Took awhile to
find all of the clips. Zali helped
with this.
