Introduction
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce Lodi & Associates.
Lodi & Associates is a dynamic revenue management service organisation
that is fully compliant to the stringent requirements of the National Credit Act.
We conform to Employment Equity and focus on Risk management, Debt
Recovery and Tracing.
We take pride in our achievements thus far, and it is our mission to remain
customer focussed by offering a professional service in the recovery of debt,
and the tracing of Debtors.
Collectively, we have over 40 years experience, relating to debt
management, recovery and tracing.
Mr Nick le Roux of Work Perfect is a Legal consultant to Lodi & Associates,
primarily for the training of staff and preparation of documentation. His
experience in Debt recovery, stems from over 15 years experience in the
Legal department of the former Trust bank and prior to this over 26 years
experience in an attorney firm. His in depth knowledge of the legal systems
including the National Credit Act with amendments, the Debt Collectors Act
(Act 114 of 1998 as amended Act 22 of 2005) together with the Magistrates
Court Processes and Procedures, ensures up to date processes being
implemented, together with the relevant training to staff.
We strive to utilise the most advanced and interactive Information technology
that enables us to continuously adapt to the specific needs of each and
every client listed on our books.
Our Goal is not necessary to be the largest
revenue management service organisation,
but, to be the best.

Vision
Through our vision we constantly endeavour to create and cement both
permanent and strong partnerships with not only our staff but also with the
clients that we service.
We aim to do this by offering the most comprehensive, in-house services that
work hand in hand with the specific needs and requirements as determined
by our client base, allowing us to always be a step ahead of our competitors
by providing products that are required for our clients debt to be successfully
collected.
Mission
Lodi & Associates are determined to uphold and achieve our mission, which is
to be able to provide a legally safe and controlled service to our clients by:
• Provide debt recovery services, that is continuously updated, allowing
us to adapt to the ever changing legalities of the new National Credit
Act.
• To provide our valued customers an effective, ethical and powerful
debt collecting service. Our staff are committed to be persistent, yet
empathetic which ensures accurate negotiating techniques.
• Our company is committed to offering a debt collecting service, which
is faster, more accurate and professional recovery, whilst maintaining
goodwill.
• To recruit, train and promote quality personnel in line with government
principles.

Displaying the highest levels of organizational excellence, through
the utilization and application of advanced I.T. systems, updated
technology, as well as continuous staff training.
Through constantly remaining sensitive and adaptive to the ever
changing requirements of our partners and the National Credit Act,
we aim to become the dominant player in the debt recovery
industry.
Through the creation and implementation of existing innovative
approaches, we aim to optimize our success rate in the debt
collection process.

Executives
CEO: George m Lodi
George Lodi started his working career as an Independent Financial Advisor
and provides a professional advisory service to various Government
Departments and Private Institutions to date.
He obtained his IMM Certificate in 19991 and a SAIM Diploma in 1993. He
further completed a Basic Product Knowledge Program with Metropolitan Life
in 1993.
In 1995 he completed a Marketers Training Program with Sanlam Life.
In 2001 GM Lodi was the first black person to be appointed as a member of
the Insurance Brokers Council of South Africa.
Since 2005, he has been operating as an officially appointed Tracing Agent
for African Bank matters.
He has been registered with the NCR since the implementation of the
National Credit Act on the 1st
of June 2007.
Executive director Managing: Jacobus C Cordier
Obtained his Diploma in manufacturing and Maintenance in `1996.
In 1995 he founded Thanganyika Construction and Maintenance which he
operated successfully to date. Duering this period he has acquired extensive
experience in management contracts with such ompanies as: SA BREWERIES,
Dept. of Home Affairs, SA Reserve Bank as well as the Cnadian Embassy. He
was also involved in the training of personnel.
In 2006, he founded Refilwe Distribution and Consulting, specializing in
acquiring signatures of Section 57 and 58 (Debt collecting documents). He
was mostly responsible for managing the legal department and relationships
between clients and corporate companies.
Executive Director Operations: Leoni Cordier
She started her career at Metropolitan Life as a Personel Manager in 1987.
Subsequently employed by John Craig Credit Department and specialized in
collections since 1994. Joined MISAB & Associates (NICS) IN 1996 as a
manager and acquired extensive experience in Credit Management and
Collections. In 2001, she was promoted to Senior Operations manager.
During this period, she also gained extensive experience in medical debt
recovery for several medical companies.
She joined Lodi & Associates in may 2008.

Executive Director. Marketing/IT : Ignatius M Cordier
Acquired a Diploma in Manufacturing and Maintenance.
In 1994, he founded CKI Maintenance which he operated successfully.
During this time, he developed extensive skills in I.T.
He joined Lodi & Associates in February 2008.
Non-Executive Director Financial: Dr Francis J.A.D. Mattelaer
Belgian National with permanent residence in RSA since 1967. He graduated
from the University of the Witwatersrand with an MB. B.Ch Degree in
November 1978. Practiced as a Mine Medical Officer from 1980 – 1983 at
Penge Asbestos Mine, near Mpumalanga. From 1983 – 1994 he was co-owner
and Financial Executive Director of Bushveld Building Supplies in Burgersfort.
He gained experience as a Project manager including the financial aspect of
project management. Since 1995 – 2008 he practiced as a General
Practitioner in Burgersfort. He developed his practice into a successful
practice with a turnover in excess of R3 000 000 and performed his own
Financial management.
Dr Mattelaer joined Lodi & Associates as Financial Non Executive Director in
February 2008.

Services Offered
Debt Recovery
• Client cedes the debtor accounts to Lodi & Associates to proceed
strictly according to the Debt Collection Act.
• All risk management and recovery procedures pertaining to
Professional Clients are only dealt with by experienced staff and
assisted by our in-house legal consultant. All accounts are
meticulously perused prior to any telephonic follow-up
procedures.
• Additional steps have been enforced to ensure that debtors are
approached in a sensitive and professional manner.
• We are further aware, and have an understanding as to the
difficulties of debtors meeting their financial obligations, as well
as the Guidelines laid down by all relevant Governmental
departments.
• We have vast experience liaising with debtors in all official
languages, to address these problems, and if necessary on a
one-to-one basis.
• We have taken note of the Act pertaining to Debt Councillors
Tracing
We have a full in-house tracing department and our abilities to trace, expand
both locally and internationally.
Due to our investigative approach , we are able to trace debtor’s way in
excess of industry norms. We understand that a positive trace, is the single
most important factor in debt recovery, and as such, we have established a
formidable reputation as tracing agents.
We currently have over 40 trained tracing agents and have the ability to
process downloads of 15000 – 25000 units per month.
This is a risk free service of NO TRACE – NO FEE.

Legal documentation
We specialise in requesting clients to sign the Section 57 and Section 58 offer
as per the NCA and Debt Collectors Act, to curtail additional legal costs.
Payment
Payments are made in full or in part by the debtors.
All payments are made into a Trust account for the safe guarding of the
clients money.
Payments are made to clients in accordance with the Debt Collector’s Act.
Technology
We make use of the Titan 2 Debt Collection system. It conforms to the
requirement as set out by the national Credit Act and Deb Collectors Act. T
this system integrates to an accounting package that ensures that all Trust
monies are handled correctly.
We have the ability to integrate and to download from third party systems.

Mattelaer Belgian National with permanent residence in RSA since 1967. He graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with an MB. B.Ch Degree in November 1978. Practiced as a Mine Medical Officer from 1980 – 1983 at Penge Asbestos Mine, near Mpumalanga. From 1983 – 1994 he was co-owner and Financial Executive Director of Bushveld Building Supplies in Burgersfort. He gained experience as a Project manager including the financial aspect of project management. Since 1995 – 2008 he practiced as a General Practitioner in Burgersfort. He developed his practice into a successful practice with a turnover in excess of R3 000 000 and performed his own Financial management. Services Offered Debt Recovery • Client cedes the debtor accounts to Lodi & Associates to proceed strictly according to the Debt Collection Act. • All risk management and recovery procedures pertaining to Professional Clients are only dealt with by experienced staff and assisted by our in-house legal consultant. All accounts are meticulously perused prior to any telephonic follow-up procedures. • Additional steps have been enforced to ensure that debtors are approached in a sensitive and professional manner. • We are further aware, and have an understanding as to the difficulties of debtors meeting their financial obligations, as well as the Guidelines laid down by all relevant Governmental departments. • We have vast experience liaising with debtors in all official languages, to address these problems, and if necessary on a one-to-one basis. • We have taken note of the Act pertaining to Debt Councillors Tracing We have a full in-house tracing department and our abilities to trace, expand both locally and internationally. Due to our investigative approach , we are able to trace debtor’s way in excess of industry norms. We understand that a positive trace, is the single most important factor in debt recovery, and as such, we have established a formidable reputation as tracing agents.   • 9. Legal documentation We specialise in requesting clients to sign the Section 57 and Section 58 offer as per the NCA and Debt Collectors Act, to curtail additional legal costs. Payment Payments are made in full or in part by the debtors. All payments are made into a Trust account for the safe guarding of the clients money. Payments are made to clients in accordance with the Debt Collector’s Act. Technology We make use of the Titan 2 Debt Collection system. It conforms to the requirement as set out by the national Credit Act and Deb Collectors Act. T this system integrates to an accounting package that ensures that all Trust monies are handled correctly. We have the ability to integrate and to download from third party systems. Page 9 of 13
