7th International Conference on Data Mining and Database (DMDB 2020)ijdms
7th International Conference on Data Mining and Database (DMDB 2020) provides a forum for researchers who address this issue and to present their work in a peer-reviewed forum. Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following areas, but are not limited to these topics only.
These slides are the basis of an Open Repositories 2015 talk about Archivematica integration.
Abstract: The open repository ecosystem consists of many interlocking systems which satisfy needs at different points in content management workflows, and these differ within and among institutions. Archivematica is a digital preservation system which aims to integrate with existing repository, storage and access systems in order to leverage the resources that institutions have invested towards building their repository over time. The presentation will cover every integration the Archivematica project has completed thus far, including Dspace and DuraCloud, LOCKSS, Islandora/Fedora, Archivists' Toolkit, AccessToMemory (AtoM), CONTENTdm, Arkivum, HP Trim, and OpenStack, as well as ongoing projects with ArchivesSpace, Dataverse, and BitCurator. Each of these projects has had its own set of limitations in scope because of the requirements of the project sponsor and/or the limitations of other system, so in many ways several of them are not, and may never be 'complete' integrations. The discussion will explore what that means and strategies for expanding the functional capabilities of integration work over time. It will address scoping integration workflows and building requirements with limitations on functionality and resources. We will examine how systems can be built and enhanced in ways that accommodate diverse workflows and varied interlocking endpoints.

Workshop title: National and European e-infrastructure cooparation for Open Science
Workshop overview:
This collaborative workshop comes in the context of coordinating EOSC related activities across large European infrastructures at European and national level. The workshop will offer an opportunity for cross-pollination on issues ranging from open scholarship to technical service provision, training, community engagement and support. OpenAIRE NOADs, EGI NGIs, GEANT NRENs and other national e-Infrastructure representatives will discuss gaps, synergies, coordination and service integration opportunities.

DDI Data Description Statistics Protection Software is a tool which enables easy anonymization processes of DDI standard univariate statistics. It was developed primarily to address the issue of statistical disclosure control for single variable aggregated data, publically distributed to particularly provide information to scientific researchers to promote detailed official statistics microdata use for scientific purposes. It enables quick and easy automatic data protection by performing data protection methods such as bracketing, top- and bottom-coding, variable (information) removal, numeric descriptive statistics protection and low frequency protection following the minimum frequency rule. In contrast to existing microdata and aggregated data anonymization tools, the developed software protects aggregated data directly in the XML code.

Presentation about LoCloud Collections: A system designed to help small cultural institutions to set up their own digital library, museum or archive in the cloud, given by Marcin Werla of Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center at the LoCloud workshop, ICOMOS 2014 in Florence.
LoCloud Collections is easy to set up, developed with the needs of local heritage organisations in mind, supports multiple collections, many data formats, provides a customizable website, with online support available at low cost with no up-front investment needed - you pay for what you use and is fully scaleable. LoCloud Collections is fully compatible with Europeana and is optimized for search engines. Based on the open source Omeka software, LoCloud Collections has been developed as part of the LoCloud project. The presentation gives a demonstration of how to set up a Collection and publish content online using LoCloud collections.

Introduction into the LoCloud-Project:
– LoCloud is a Best Practice Network co‐funded under the
CIP ICT‐PSP programme of the European Commission.
– LoCloud is supporting small and medium‐sized
institutions in making their content and
metadata available to Europeana.
– A cloud‐based technology infrastructure will enable the
aggregation of local content, and
– a number of micro‐services will help to reduce technical,
semantic and skills barriers and to render the content
more discoverable and interoperable.
Followed by examples:
- microservices
- thesaurus management
- business management
- data transformation
- digital curation

Wireless communication involves the transmission of information over a distance without the help of wires, cables or any other forms of electrical conductors.
Wireless communication is a broad term that incorporates all procedures and forms of connecting and communicating between two or more devices using a wireless signal through wireless communication technologies and devices.
Features of Wireless Communication
The evolution of wireless technology has brought many advancements with its effective features.
The transmitted distance can be anywhere between a few meters (for example, a television's remote control) and thousands of kilometers (for example, radio communication).
Wireless communication can be used for cellular telephony, wireless access to the internet, wireless home networking, and so on.
# Internet Security: Safeguarding Your Digital World
In the contemporary digital age, the internet is a cornerstone of our daily lives. It connects us to vast amounts of information, provides platforms for communication, enables commerce, and offers endless entertainment. However, with these conveniences come significant security challenges. Internet security is essential to protect our digital identities, sensitive data, and overall online experience. This comprehensive guide explores the multifaceted world of internet security, providing insights into its importance, common threats, and effective strategies to safeguard your digital world.
## Understanding Internet Security
Internet security encompasses the measures and protocols used to protect information, devices, and networks from unauthorized access, attacks, and damage. It involves a wide range of practices designed to safeguard data confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Effective internet security is crucial for individuals, businesses, and governments alike, as cyber threats continue to evolve in complexity and scale.
### Key Components of Internet Security
1. **Confidentiality**: Ensuring that information is accessible only to those authorized to access it.
2. **Integrity**: Protecting information from being altered or tampered with by unauthorized parties.
3. **Availability**: Ensuring that authorized users have reliable access to information and resources when needed.
## Common Internet Security Threats
Cyber threats are numerous and constantly evolving. Understanding these threats is the first step in protecting against them. Some of the most common internet security threats include:
### Malware
Malware, or malicious software, is designed to harm, exploit, or otherwise compromise a device, network, or service. Common types of malware include:
- **Viruses**: Programs that attach themselves to legitimate software and replicate, spreading to other programs and files.
- **Worms**: Standalone malware that replicates itself to spread to other computers.
- **Trojan Horses**: Malicious software disguised as legitimate software.
- **Ransomware**: Malware that encrypts a user's files and demands a ransom for the decryption key.
- **Spyware**: Software that secretly monitors and collects user information.
### Phishing
Phishing is a social engineering attack that aims to steal sensitive information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details. Attackers often masquerade as trusted entities in email or other communication channels, tricking victims into providing their information.
### Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) Attacks
MitM attacks occur when an attacker intercepts and potentially alters communication between two parties without their knowledge. This can lead to the unauthorized acquisition of sensitive information.
### Denial-of-Service (DoS) and Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) Attacks
