2. Introduction
Within this task, I will be sketching and evaluating the potential locations for our music video.
This must be completed prior to a location recce, as this task will be guided by the initial ideas
found here. In order for producers to decide upon locations and acquire the necessary
permissions, they must first imagine the ideal locations in which their scenes are to be set. In
this task, I will comparing and evaluating a number of location ideas per scene, and eventually
deciding upon the must suitable to be used within an eventual location recce.

8. Conclusion
We have decided upon the following locations:
- Room D2 – Manshead School
- B block lockers – Manshead School
- Michelle’s living room
- Michelle’s kitchen
- Michelle’s bedroom
- Stockwood Park
The suitability of these locations is based on their
practicality, as well as their links to genre, narrative
and representations. Each of these locations can be
decorated and/or altered to create the appropriate
mise en scene for our production, in order to frame
shots with the desired visual style. Furthermore,
their practicality ensures that filming can be
completed in the most efficient, straight-forward
manner possible. This will therefore inform the
creation of a location recce, wherein each location
will be analysed in further depth, identifying
potential risks or hazards when filming.
