Dr Unsoy Presentation at BIMY Conference on latest developments in the mobile...munsoy
This document provides background on mSolve Partners and discusses key trends in the mobile industry presented at recent wireless conferences. It notes the rise of tablets as enterprise devices, highlights new tablet and smartphone models, and discusses implications for vertical sectors, including the move to mobile clouds, social networking, and location-based services. Predictions are made around the increasing role of smartphones and the need for mobile device management strategies across operating systems.
Study: The Future of VR, AR and Self-Driving CarsLinkedIn
We asked LinkedIn members worldwide about their levels of interest in the latest wave of technology: whether they’re using wearables, and whether they intend to buy self-driving cars and VR headsets as they become available. We asked them too about their attitudes to technology and to the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the devices that they use. The answers were fascinating – and in many cases, surprising.
This SlideShare explores the full results of this study, including detailed market-by-market breakdowns of intention levels for each technology – and how attitudes change with age, location and seniority level. If you’re marketing a tech brand – or planning to use VR and wearables to reach a professional audience – then these are insights you won’t want to miss.
Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere, promising self-driving cars, medical breakthroughs, and new ways of working. But how do you separate hype from reality? How can your company apply AI to solve real business problems?
Here’s what AI learnings your business should keep in mind for 2017.

Students' use of Facebook groups for peer to-peer learningChristian Dalsgaard
Paper presentation for Networked Learning Conference 2014. The presentation shows findings from an empirical study of five non-institutional Facebook groups created and managed by students in Danish upper secondary schools. The study rejects the claims that students do not wish to use Facebook for school-related activities. The empirical study demonstrates that students are using Facebook groups to help each other with all kinds of school-related matters, including issues relating directly to academic subjects. Based on the findings from the study, the paper concludes that there is an educational potential of Facebook groups in supporting peer-to-peer learning between students.
This document discusses knowledge media and how digital materials can be organized to support learning and knowledge sharing. It defines knowledge media as media used by individuals to accomplish learning activities. Knowledge media should not only organize and convey knowledge but also support knowledge construction. The internet has unique potentials as a knowledge media such as publication, dialogue, participation in networks, and coupling people and information. Knowledge media can be organized thematically, personalized for individuals, and through social relations. They can support personal, physical, and social contexts beyond institutional borders.
