Our Future
Kenyans who have received international
recognition and nomination for international
awards have shown that investing in the arts and
entertainment sectors will not only create jobs;
it will boost tourism, and promote our culture
around the world. To that end we will legislate to
increase local content to 60% from the current
40% in local free-to-air TV channels.
His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta on the
opening of 11th Parliament on 16th April 2013
Thank you very much
