BugRaptors use different types of tools for performance and load testing. One of the tools we use is JMeter to analyze the performance of web applications and Mobile apps with varying load. It is used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources such as static files, Java Servlets, ASP.NET, PHP, CGI scripts, Java objects, databases, FTP servers, and more.

2. HISTORY
1. Jmeter Started by Stefano Mazzocchi of the Apache Software
Foundation was the original developer of JMeter. He wrote it
primarily to test the performance of Apache Jserv. We redesigned
JMeter to enhance the GUI and to add functional-testing capabilities.
2. Originally developed to test JServ (an Apache project since replaced
by Tomcat).
3. Functionality has been added to test a variety of server-based
applications.
4. Full multithreading framework allows concurrent sampling by many
threads and simultaneous sampling of different functions by separate
thread groups.

The Apache JMeter™ application is open source software, a 100% pure
Java application designed to load test functional behavior and measure
performance. It was originally designed for testing Web Applications
but has since expanded to other test functions. In the below we define
