I created this visual presentation to help students in my "Women & Aging" course in the Masters program in Women's Health at Suffolk University. I wanted them to be able to envision aging over the full continuum of life---including into old age. Too often old women are overlooked, ignored or out of sight. Their faces and bodies are seldom found in magazines, television programs or on billboards. This absence depletes my dreams, distances me from the the woman I am becoming, and increases my fears and isolation. One day I will die. But meanwhile, as my body moves on its course towards inevitable frailty, there is much living to do.

Doss nearly died from the eating disorder and now works to support those struggling. The goal is to show that every body is beautiful and to help reduce the stigma around eating disorders.

On October 23rd, they gave their very first book presentation and subsequent book signing at the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving, with the former First Lady actually in attendance! They were told that the special dedication (pictured below) that the authors made at the beginning of our book, to the Former 39th President of the United States and the Former First Lady, actually brought tears to Mrs. Carter’s eyes when it was read to her the following day!

Evaluating and development of care for an ageing individual
Daniel, a 65 years old poet, was a well-renowned writer and poet, and his fame was due to his poems, which were nature-oriented and full of positivity and wisdom. During his young age and adulthood, Daniel managed to have visited several cities where he was invited in forums as the guest speaker as well as to go and recite his poems. Danie is a pro-life individual who is always advocating for the care of nature and the environment. He has three adult sons and a daughter who is in her early thirties. Daniel lost his beloved wife twenty-three years ago as a result of an accident that happened in the range where his wife was cut deeply by a chaff cutter and bleed to death as there was nobody around to her. The death of his wife and the mother of his children grieved the family so bad and left them with much sorrow. Having no one else to help raise the kids, he had to quit his career and concentrate on family endeavors to take care of his children, especially the very young daughter, who was very young. Being a poet, it was such a setback to him, chiefly because he was at the peak of his career and what he had loved since he was a young boy. Despite his wife’s death and his career suddenly cut down. Daniel is a joyful older adult who, according to his children's success, gives him a purpose in life. Research has indicated that having a sense of purpose in life is has been proven to reduce the risk of diseases, especially at old age. Additionally, statistics show that the number of older adults in developing countries has been increasing and is expected to double come the next decade.
Preliminary issues
From this case the possible effects include:
Dementia, risk of falling, Insomnia Backache. Dementia is technically a collective term used in the description of various symptoms of cognitive declines, such as forgetfulness. The risk of falling is not much as Mr. Daniel still looks healthy and energetic. Dementia, on the other hand, has the highest risk as older age can result in not rasps of forgetfulness often. Additionally, most elderly adults usually have insomnia. Insomnia is characteristic of the lack of sleep or the encounter of the sleepless night, thus making an individual stay awake throughout the night. As a result, mar Daniel always prefers to sit on his favorite chair when he experiences sleepless nights. As a result, he has been spending most of his night s seat, and that is the possible reason as to why he is experiencing backache; however, other factors too can be cursive gents. Back pai.

Lifelong Learning at Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) is marking the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement by joining the Jonathan Daniels and All Martyrs Annual Pilgrimage In Hayneville, Alabama. The event starts in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, August 10th, with a visit to sites honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and moves on to the Civil Rights trail through Alabama on Saturday, August 11th. It concludes on Sunday the 12th. Come join us as EDS collaborates with the dioceses of Atlanta and Alabama to remember our nation's history, and to honor some of the martyrs of the Civil Rights Movement, including former Episcopal Theological School seminarian Jonathan Daniels.

Research has indicated that having a sense of purpose in life is has been proven to reduce the risk of diseases, especially at old age. Additionally, statistics show that the number of older adults in developing countries has been increasing and is expected to double come the next decade.
Preliminary issues
From this case the possible effects include:
Dementia, risk of falling, Insomnia Backache. Dementia is technically a collective term used in the description of various symptoms of cognitive declines, such as forgetfulness. The risk of falling is not much as Mr. Daniel still looks healthy and energetic. Dementia, on the other hand, has the highest risk as older age can result in not rasps of forgetfulness often. Additionally, most elderly adults usually have insomnia. Insomnia is characteristic of the lack of sleep or the encounter of the sleepless night, thus making an individual stay awake throughout the night. As a result, mar Daniel always prefers to sit on his favorite chair when he experiences sleepless nights. As a result, he has been spending most of his night s seat, and that is the possible reason as to why he is experiencing backache; however, other factors too can be cursive gents. Back pai.

Jonathan Daniels Pilgrimage 2013 through Lifelong Learning at EDS
Lifelong Learning at Episcopal Divinity School (EDS) is marking the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Civil Rights Movement by joining the Jonathan Daniels and All Martyrs Annual Pilgrimage In Hayneville, Alabama. The event starts in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, August 10th, with a visit to sites honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and moves on to the Civil Rights trail through Alabama on Saturday, August 11th. It concludes on Sunday the 12th. Come join us as EDS collaborates with the dioceses of Atlanta and Alabama to remember our nation's history, and to honor some of the martyrs of the Civil Rights Movement, including former Episcopal Theological School seminarian Jonathan Daniels.

Taking stock of Continuing Education at Episcopal Divinity School involves looking at practices of peer institutions, particularly around online education. What can we learn?
India's sex ratio
India has a skewed sex ratio, with far fewer females than males. The normal global sex ratio is approximately 1.07 males to every female at birth, but in India an estimated 10 million girls went missing between 1981-2005 due to factors like neglect, female infanticide, and sex-selective abortion. The low sex ratio is caused by cultural perceptions of females as economic burdens rather than assets, as well as internalized patriarchal views of female worth, though the specific causes vary regionally within India.
Elders & poverty
More than 6 in 10 older persons in poverty or at risk of falling into poverty are women. Almost one-fifth of older African-Americans live in poverty compared to 6.5% of older Whites. Poverty negatively impacts health through higher rates of conditions like obesity, diabetes and hypertension and less preventative care. Those in poverty are almost four times as likely to report poor health. To pay for care, many rely on programs like Medicaid but over a third of those in poverty lack insurance. Social Security plays a crucial role in preventing poverty among older Americans, as the poverty rate would be over 4 times higher without it.
Religion in contemporary soc

A Strategic Approach: GenAI in Education
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
