1. When you search for certain bands on Last.fm, they recommend other artists you might like. For example, when you search for Fall Out Boy who would be quite high up on the Long Tail you get recommended other artists like Panic! At The Disco who would be at the same level as Fall Out Boy but you also get bands like Cobra Starship who would be lower down, then you get bands like The Cab who are almost unknown of. You also get recommended bands that would be higher up on the Long Tail such as My Chemical Romance. The similar artists are either on the same record label or with a similar genre of music. This is a useful feature because it helps you to find new bands that you might like just by searching one of your favourite bands.
