of mind
• Feeling lonely is a disconnection from the people around you
when you really prefer to emotionally connected to them.
• There are times in everyone’s lives when they want to be
alone, but no one wants to feel the heart wrenching
disconnection that comes with true loneliness.

• 60% of stressed people gets drug addicted.
• Drug addiction changes their behavior or swings their mood.
• They withdraw themselves from their family members and old
friendship groups.
• Carelessness about personal grooming.
• Loss of interest in hobbies, sports or other favorite activities.
• Neglect of responsibilities.

5. SUICIDE RATE IN INDIA
• In 2016 the number of suicides in India had increased to
230,314. Suicide was the most common cause of death in
both the age groups of 15–29 years and 15–39 years.
• According to WHO data, the age standardized suicide rate in
India is 16.4 per 100,000 for women (6th highest in the world)
and 25.8 for men (ranking 22nd).

6. •The link between suicide and mental disorders
(in particular, depression and alcohol use
disorders) many suicides happen impulsively in
moments of crisis with a breakdown in the
ability to deal with life stresses, such as financial
problems, relationship break-up or chronic pain
and illness.

11. • Mental health problems and illnesses are as important as
any physical health challenges
• Anyone can be presented with mental health challenges
• With proper control, people experiencing mental health
issues can be productive members of society
• Since mental health is no different from physical health
and mental problems and illnesses are treatable, anyone
suffering from a mental illness should be treated with
dignity.

12. OBJECTIVE
• To work in the area of mental health with a specific
focus on stress and anxiety.
• To provide a platform where people can develop
their intellectual skills.

13. GOALS
• Create awareness about stress, anxiety & depression.
• Reduce stigma associated with mental illness.
• To reduce the number of suicide and failures in our
society due to depression.
• To develop intellectual minds and provide a platform
where people can actually come and express their
views without being judged.

14. Mental health support and listen explore change are
interrelated to each other. The overall purpose of the club is to
nurture the youth mind by providing relief through listening
support and enhancing the youth mind through listen explore
change.
