3. Pour the water from the container to the
measuring cup/jug.
4. Read the scale carefully.
5. Record the amount of liquid the container holds in
the table as

Materials: plastic cups with labels 250 mL and 100 mL,
respectively, 1 L juice drink bottle (see illustration)

1. Fill a 250-mL plastic cup with water.
2. Fill the soft drink bottle with 250 ml water until it reaches 1 liter.
3. Record the number of times the 1 L bottle is filled with 250 mL
water. How many 250 mL cups of water does the 1 L bottle contain?
