as a navy doctor aboard a hospital ship for 2 years duringthe VietnamWar. He never was stationed
in Vietnamduring the VietnamWar. He also enjoyedservingas cruise ship doctor and summer camp
doctor in Mountain City,GA.
My mother is a retiredpediatric nurse who trained at Beth Israel NursingSchool in NewYork City. She
worked as a nurse in Broward county and at my dad’s office in Hollywood,WestHollywood,and
Pembroke Pines,FL. My father’sfamily is from Binghamtonand my mother’sfamily isfrom
Rockaway, NY.
I have a cousinfrom Binghamton who is a radiation oncologistand prostate cancer specialistwho
practices in San Francisco, CA. His wife is an OB-GYN.

I have beenaround hospitalsand doctor’s officesall of my life. I livedin the hospital dormitory at
Mount VernonHospital. I livedin the medical studentdormitory at MaimonidesMedical Centerin
Brooklyn, NY. I began an internal medicine residencytrainingprogram in Pittsfield,MAand was a
PGY-1internat Berkshire Medical Center. I was letgo from my internal medicine trainingshortly after
9/11 and subsequentlymovedback home to Florida. I was advisedto steer away from Internal
Medicine andtry to obtain a residencyinPathology and was unsuccessful inobtaining a pathology
residencyat Universityof Miami School of Medicine. While an internal medicine internI did
rotations in EmergencyMedicine,Pathology,Dermatology,Radiology,Pulmonary Medicine,Intensive
Care Unitand Medical Wards. I especiallyenjoyedmytime working in the office of Dr. Fred Mensch
where I learneda great deal about Dermatology. I did not performthat well while underthe direction
of Dr. Jack Ringlerin the ICU.
I would like to continue my education inthe medical field. I am very humble,smart, motivated, a
hard worker,have excellentinterpersonal skills(bothverbal andwritten),energetic,organized,
excellenttime managementskills,abilitytomulti-task,excellentphone skills: listening,
