Objective My professional objective is to find a position as a Nurse
Practitioner in an OB-GYN practice . I have been involved in the field of women’s
health for 30 years, caring for women throughout the life cycle. My experience ranges
from adolescence, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, adulthood, menopause. I believe in
preventive health practices of good diet, exercise, health screening, and also in being
a knowledgeable and supportive health care provider when health deficits are
present.

1980-2002 : Columbia Hospital for Women, Washington, DC
L & D staff nurse, charge nurse; busy labor & delivery unit, approx. 3000 deliveries/year.
2002-2004: Obstetrical and Gynecological Group, Washington, DC
Worked as a Nurse Practitioner seeing variety of OB and GYN patients, small caseload of
approx. 25 patients per week. No on-call, no deliveries.
2004-present: Drs. Reiter, Hill, Johnson & Nevin, Washington,DC
Work as a Nurse Practitioner in a very busy private practice, with 17 physicians and 5 NP’s. I see
a wide variety of OB and GYN patients, approx. 20-25 daily. No on-call, no deliveries. The
patients I see are new OB’s, prenatal, postpartum, well-woman annuals, menopause,
contraception, problem visits, BRCA counseling, breast exams, referrals for any ancillary testing.
My skills include Mirena and Paragard IUD insertions and removals, colposcopies, EMB’s,
Nexplanon insertion and removal, labor checks etc.
I have full prescriptive privileges. My practice was able to collect over $500,000 + from my
insurance submissions.
While I have over 30 years of experience in both OB and GYN, I am not opposed to joining a
practice which only offers GYN services.
