A peek into his professional journey reflects over 35 years of progressive experience with Tamil Nadu Urban
Development Programme. Starting as a Road Inspector, he has grown in the organization. In his last assignment,
he was Divisional Engineer, Highways, leading NABARD and World Bank funded projects for construction of
roads and bridges as per MORT&H specifications. He then went on to work with ETA Constructions, Dubai and
Prathyusha Resources and Infra Pvt. Ltd, Chennai where he spearheaded efforts in Tendering and Contract
Administration. His rich and varied experience of over four decades has honed his skills in designing and
executing building plans & designs, estimation, surveys, garnerining necessary approvals and procuring tenders
and biddingdocumentation eliminatingpitfalls.
Er V Sundareshwaran holds the distinction of leading various road and bridge construction projects aided by
State Government of Tamil Nadu, World Bank and Asia Development Bank, ensuring timely completion of
projects within defined cost and quality parameters. Demonstrated proficiency in investigation, preparation of
plans, LS & CS drawings and design of roads of more than 500 km. Across his career, he has led preparation,
investigation and execution of detailed estimates for over 50 major bridges on National Highways, Ghat Roads
and Rural Roads. Has also led construction of over 240 group houses, 12 panchayat building, 6 community halls
and 24 school buildings for Govt of Tamil Nadu. Possesses hands on experience in all facets of engineering
project management, including construction management, site execution, design engineering, contract
administration and people management. Adept at techno commercial evaluation of tenders, deftly negotiating
with bidders to ensure delivery of high quality products and services at optimal costs. Well versed with Indian
and International (FIDIC) conditions of contract. Familiar with AutoCAD and AutoDCR that has been recently
