Library Information and
Management System (LIMS)
Library Information and Management System (LIMS),
a unique library system, has been designed,
developed, implemented and fully tested by library
professionals. This is the first software which the
Group is not only distributing free of cost but also
provides its training and support through messenger,
email, phone or visits to the libraries. LIMS is being
used in more than 50 libraries, of every type, i.e.,
academic, special, and public libraries not only in
Pakistan but also in Middle East.

Some very prestigious Pakistani educational
institutions are using LIMS and a team of group
members provide support and training locally in
Islamabad, Punjab and NWFP. Web OPAC for
LIMS, www.paklag.org/nulhr , has been tested and
will be distributed among the users of LIMS free of
cost.

Adding a photograph of Member
For photo: Scan your photo and save in the “Image
folder” & name should
be same as Member Id and extension must be bmp
(e. g. for member Id 1200 It should be
1200.bmp) . “Images” Folder is available along
with the LIMS.mde database. Please don’t
change the name of this “Images” folder.
Give Expiry date of the Member in the “Expiry date “
field.
Saving Pictures in Image folder will reduce the
database size and increase the speed of the
database.

of the search results in a good format. Select reports
then double click the required search criteria e.g. title,

click return button or just press enter key. A message “Book is returned from
Roll No. xyz” will appear. Click ok or press enter key. The book is returned and
system will fine on overdue book according to member category.

preview of sticker will appear. Now using a specific sheet of seven
stickers one can get its print.
