2. Limitations of E-learning:
Although E-learning has many benefits for students
and organizations, it also has limitations.

3.  Computer literacy and access to equipment. Any
E-learning system requires basic equipment and a
minimum level of computer knowledge to operate
with the system.

4.  Some topics are not appropriate for E-learning.
Certain subjects like sports cannot be explained
through E-learning.

5.  Students themselves can be a limitation to E-
learning. The E-learning has flexibility and student-
centered nature, so the students must be well
organized, self-motivated, and have good time
management skills.

6.  Success of E-learning program depends upon the
amount of effort put in by the student.
 Bandwidth limitations. Lower bandwidth means
slower performance for sound, video and intensive
graphics, causing long waits for download.

7.  Loss of human contact. The E-learning system will
replace a friendly face.
 E-learning programs are too static. The level of
interaction is too limited.
