The music video was animated so the creators had no control over traditional lighting but chose to set all scenes during the daytime to reflect the positive mood and themes from the male character's perspective of cheering up the upset female character, avoiding any nighttime or darkened shots. Some lighting effects were incorporated, including zooming into an extreme closeup of the sun with a lens flare to transition to a new scene and adding a lens flare in the last scene as the sun descends to shine on a seed, brightening the scene to make it seem like the sun is shining.
