Stanislav Vyazovsky is a 77-year-old teacher and athlete from Krasny Yar, Russia who is devoted to physical culture and promoting healthy lifestyles. He has been a competitive swimmer since childhood despite having heart disease. In 2012, he set a record by swimming across the Volga River and back without stopping at age 77. He started a club for women called the Krasnoyarsk Beauties to encourage exercise and healthy living, and has organized similar clubs across the region. Through his personal example and leadership, Vyazovsky continues to inspire others to embrace physical activity and reject unhealthy habits like smoking.
