Today the class worked on creating two concept boards for structure and attachment by arranging inspirational images and photographs. Students rearranged each other's images to get new perspectives on layouts, which helped them develop arrangements they liked better. Working with feedback from peers on image organization improved the structure board layout.

1. Today's activities consisted of creating two A1 concept boards, one for
structure and the other for attachment. A selection of inspirational
images from books, magazines and pictures that I personally took from
visits e.c.t where used. This was all a part of my research, and this was to
create a mood/concept that would come across when looking at the
board. The way the images are laid out makes a huge difference to how
you would want your mood to come across. So the whole class done an
activity where we would have about one minute to rearrange someone
else's images and create a layout; that then they would then take a
picture of that which would give them ideas. I found this quite useful as it
showed me different ways or arranging the images and probably ways
that I would not have thought of. I felt that I got quite used to creating a
layout for the images and when it was time for me to go back to mine
and try again, I came up with an arrangement that I really liked. I was
working with my ‘Structure’ board.
