2. Infant Stage
After birth a new born tiger is only up
to two to three pounds.They are blind
at birth but are not completely
helpless.They can still smell their
mother so they can nurse.Tiger cubs
stay in a den made by by their mother
for the first eight weeks of life.During
their eighth week of life their mother
introduces meat.
3. “Child”Stage
Young cub under adult.
At this stage a tiger may go out of the
den and practice hunting with their
mother.They do this for about eighteen
weeks then they’ll be able to hunt by
them self.Although they can hunt they
stay with their mother for another year.
4. Young Adult Stage
At this stage they leave their mother and are
on their own.Females make there terrirories
close to their mother,although they have no
relationship.Males will go far from their
mothers and find their territories.They can
mate but will not try to mate.
5. Full Grown Adult Stage
At this stage the tiger has found it’s territory and
will try to mate.If a male tuger wants to mate
with a female tiger and the female has cubs the
male will kill the other cubs.The adult tigers will
only be with other adult tigers if they’re mating
or have been tracking the same prey.Tigers can
live up to 26 years but do to destroying habitats
they usually live up to 10 years.

list due to over hunting and habitat
destruction.Tiger are illegal to hunt
but poachers hunt them illegally for
their fur.The tigers like the tiger in the
picture on the left are one of the rarest
animals on Earth.
7. Range
Although tigers are endangered
they are distributed widely
throughout South East Asia
.They live in the following
places such as Bangladesh,
Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India,
Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia,
Myanmar, Nepal, Russia,
Thailand, and Vietnam.
8. Adaptations
Tigers have many adaptations.
One of the most obvious is their
camouflage. They also have
sharp claws and teeth to help
them kill prey. They have really
good hearing that allows them to
pick up infared sound. They
have keen hearing that allows
hem to smell prey almost a mile
away.
