Everybody lies,  but have you ever stopped to think how often and why people lie?   Well, I haven’t.
What is a lie?   According to  Macmillan Open Dictionary,  LIE  is    say something that is not true . show or suggest facts that are not true
Why do people lie?  Research shows that people lie constantly. It turns out that we spin facts and make up fictons for all sorts of reasons. Small embellishments can have a positive  psychological effects. People who deceive themselves also  tend to be happier than people who do not.
When do you begin to lie?  Lie begins early, by the age of 3. Experts believe that children learn  to lie with their parents.
Little lie  x  Big lie Many experts don’t see much different between a little and a big lie. Still, people act differently when they’re gilding a story and when they’re telling a massive whopper.
3 Ways to Tell if Someone is Lying Establish a baseline. Read microexpressions. Pay attention to body language.
