I am pleased to offer this letter of recommendation for Rosemary Anderson. Rosemary worked in three
different positions at the University of Saint Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois, all of which were under
my area of supervision. She voluntarily ended her employment with us in order to relocate out of state. Based
on my experience with her, I highly recommend her to you.
As Associate Director of Continuing Education, she had a part-time Director who was a full-time faculty
member. As a result, she proved herself to be very self-directed and highly effective. Rosemary worked for us
during a demanding time in the life of the University of St. Mary of the Lake. We were merging the ministry
education programs of the Archdiocese of Chicago into the University, expanding our enrollment from about
250 to 2,000 overnight.
As part of that reorganization, I promoted Rosemary from the Conference Center to the Continuing
Education department because it needed someone with her skills. In the move, she showed herself to be
flexible and cooperative. She gave herself to the new appointment and succeeded. Additionally, let me say
that I always found Rosemary to be a pleasant person whom I found easy to work with.
