To Whom It May Concern:
Charles Frank has asked that I write a letter of recommendation for him in his pursuit of an academic
scholarship offered by OAR. I am happy to do so. John was a student in my Human Experience of
Health class. He did well in the class, was on time to class and was attentive. It is already apparent
that he is diligent. His current GPA, as a traditional junior student at OUHSC in Tulsa, is 3.1.
Charles is an active leader in his nursing class. His current activities and achievements include:
Elected fundraising and community service co-chair, OU Student Nurses Association
o Raised funds and provided three local families in need a Thanksgiving dinner.
o Organized a letter writing campaign to Marines in Afghanistan.
• Social Committee member, OU Tulsa Student Association
Organized a fellow nursing students to do the Tulsa Run, I ran the 15K
It is my opinion that Charles will make a significant contribution in the field of nursing. I highly
recommend him for this scholarship.
Sincerely,
/ - .
