I have worked closely with Gerda in my role as Year 1,1.1L2 Distance Education Co-
ordinator for Riverside Christian College. I have found Gerda to be extremeiy
capable and will do all she can to help anyone. I have witnessed her on playground
duty where children will jump off the morning buses and come running to Gerda
for a hug. She lias this instant rapport with students.
Gerda is very proficient rnrith many cornputer programs. SLIMS & SDCS are the 2
school based programs of wlrich I have learnt l'rom her. As a school, we use
Denbigh [Record Database) and Powerhouse [LMS). She has extensive knowledge
of these.
I have found Gerda to be con'rpassionate, giving and a very humbled person. Gerda
has helped me on rnany occasions to confirm things with our distance education
students on the government database in t}-re 2 years she has been employed with
Riverside. Gerda is loyal and extremely hard working. She does not believe in
being late for anything, Gerda has overcome some very challenging, unrealistic,
expectations placed on her when she comrlenced with Riverside. She tool< all of
these challenges and tackled then'r head on. She is -such a professional when it
comes to ofiice management ar.ici I doubt there wouid be a task she could not do
with ease.
I wish her all the very best for anything she wishes to undertake in the future.
