Richard Wayne Penniman (born
December 5, 1932), known by his
stage nameLittle Richard, is an
American recording artist,
songwriter, and musician. He has
been an influential figure in popular
music and culture for over six
decades. Penniman's most celebrated
work dates from the mid-1950s
where his dynamic music and
charismatic showmanship laid the
foundation for rock and roll. His
music also had a pivotal impact on
the formation of other popular music
genres, including soul andfunk.
Penniman influenced numerous
singers and musicians across musical
genres fromrock to rap.
Penniman has been honored by many
institutions, including inductions into
the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and
the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
 The Rolling Stones are an English rock band
formed in Dartford, Kent in 1962. The first
stable line-up consisted of band leader Brian
Jones (guitar, harmonica), Ian
Stewart (piano), Mick Jagger (lead vocals,
harmonica), Keith Richards (guitar), Bill
Wyman (bass), and Charlie Watts (drums).
The Rolling Stones were in the vanguard of
the British Invasion of the US in 1964 and
1965. Initially infamous for the long hair of
its members as much as their music, the band

Rain, the band consisted of Liam
Gallagher (vocals and
tambourine), Paul "Bonehead"
Arthurs (guitar), Paul "Guigsy"
McGuigan (bass guitar), and Tony
McCarroll (drums, percussion). They
were later joined by Liam's older
brother Noel Gallagher (lead guitar
and vocals) as a fifth member,
becoming the band's settled line-up
until April 1995.
