S Although Social Networking and Media has
heavily influenced modern society there are
some important aspects to be taken into
account:
-Are there positives really worth the negatives?
-Can social media make the world a better place?
-If the information travels faster does it mean it is more
efficient?
-Does the youth benefit more by growing up with social media?
-Does portable accessibility enhance one’s life?

3. Reasoning:
S I chose this topic because social media and
networking has such an impact on my life especially
living in the Silicon Valley. Constantly we are being
introduced to new applications, new profiles, new
websites and I really wanted to research the impacts
of all this. Social media, like other things, needs to
be rationalized and reasoned with.

S People will be opted to take more vacations virtually than
in the flesh.
S Children will only learn through technology versus outside
in the real world.
S There will be an application for every aspect of ones life.
S The notion of personal community will be completely
gone.

12. Suggested Steps for Improvement:
S Monitoring the youth and what they can or cannot be exposed
to via the internet.
S Having the presence of reliable sources be more accessible
and dependable.
S Letting social media let go of the fabricated world and
concentrate on realness.
S Glamorizing the real world and wellness activities.

13. Conclusion:
S Although Social Media and Networking have provided
some amazing contributions, the human race really has
to look at when too much is too much. It has helped
people but it has also hurt people mentally, physically,
and psychologically too. Becoming too reliant can draw
away from one’s personal development and their life.
