Indoor air quality is important because people spend 90% of their time indoors. Poor indoor air quality can cause respiratory issues, allergies, and reduce life expectancy. Common indoor pollutants like dust mites, mold, and fine dust negatively impact health when inhaled. Maintaining proper humidity between 45-55% and avoiding allergens and other pollutants can help improve indoor air quality and prevent chronic diseases.
This document discusses various components of the environment including air, noise, and lighting. It provides details on the composition of air and how plants, temperature, and rainfall help maintain constant levels. Air pollution is caused by factors like urbanization, industries, vehicles, and agriculture. Noise pollution stems from industrial machinery, transportation, and certain noise levels can cause hearing damage. Both air and noise pollution can be prevented through measures like controlling sources, public education, and legal enforcement. Proper lighting is important and can come from natural or artificial sources, with factors like intensity, location, and efficiency needing consideration.

Essentials of Automations: Exploring Attributes & Automation ParametersSafe Software
Building automations in FME Flow can save time, money, and help businesses scale by eliminating data silos and providing data to stakeholders in real-time. One essential component to orchestrating complex automations is the use of attributes & automation parameters (both formerly known as “keys”). In fact, it’s unlikely you’ll ever build an Automation without using these components, but what exactly are they?
Attributes & automation parameters enable the automation author to pass data values from one automation component to the next. During this webinar, our FME Flow Specialists will cover leveraging the three types of these output attributes & parameters in FME Flow: Event, Custom, and Automation. As a bonus, they’ll also be making use of the Split-Merge Block functionality.
You’ll leave this webinar with a better understanding of how to maximize the potential of automations by making use of attributes & automation parameters, with the ultimate goal of setting your enterprise integration workflows up on autopilot.

Conversational agents, or chatbots, are increasingly used to access all sorts of services using natural language. While open-domain chatbots - like ChatGPT - can converse on any topic, task-oriented chatbots - the focus of this paper - are designed for specific tasks, like booking a flight, obtaining customer support, or setting an appointment. Like any other software, task-oriented chatbots need to be properly tested, usually by defining and executing test scenarios (i.e., sequences of user-chatbot interactions). However, there is currently a lack of methods to quantify the completeness and strength of such test scenarios, which can lead to low-quality tests, and hence to buggy chatbots.
To fill this gap, we propose adapting mutation testing (MuT) for task-oriented chatbots. To this end, we introduce a set of mutation operators that emulate faults in chatbot designs, an architecture that enables MuT on chatbots built using heterogeneous technologies, and a practical realisation as an Eclipse plugin. Moreover, we evaluate the applicability, effectiveness and efficiency of our approach on open-source chatbots, with promising results.

1. Products That Cut New Paths Environmental Purity Passive filters wait around for pollution. Fresh Air Surround and Eco Box with ActivePure duplicate the power of sunlight and thunderstorms to bring the solution to the pollution. You’ll have many ways to improve your indoor environment. Uncompromising Health from the out side in to the inside out.
2. The FACTS Concerning our Indoor Air Environments Are you aware: its PROBLEMS the REASONS our SOLUTIONS
3.
4. We can live 6 to 8 weeks without food, but only 3 or 4 minutes without air. Food provides 40% of our energy . Did you know 60% of our daily energy comes form the air we breath? Each day we require 3 ½ lbs. of food, 4lbs of water, but 34 pounds air! In 12 hours, we breathe 250 cubic feet of air into our lungs. Only 10% of cold are caught outdoors, 90% are caught indoors. Why? Ultra violet-rays kill germs on dust outdoors but window glass stop these uv violet-rays from entering the home. ¼ pound of dust enters an average home each day, from shoes and clothes and through windows and doors. The average person inhales two (2) tablespoons of house dust daily. Don’t you owe it to yourself and your family to keep the air in your home as clean as possible?

10. Inefficient air filter systems AIR FILTRATION UNITS ARE NOT THAT EFFICIENT Much of the air is unaffected, and remains polluted! LOCALIZED AREA UNITS (Media Filters) Only the air caught in the air stream goes through the filter. Air trapped behind drapes, under furniture, in fabric (upholstery, clothing, carpeting, drapes, etc.) does not get filtered nearly as often, and sometimes not at all. WHOLE BUILDING UNITS (Media Filters or Electronic Air Cleaners) The only air that gets “filtered” is the air which is actually drawn through the unit. “DIRTY” air constantly invades the space. Recirculates the same air—does not get behind drapes or under furniture.

14. FreshAir Surround Set-up 1. Your machine has a purification plate installed already and what you see is the extra backup plate. Put your batteries in the remote, attach the electrical cord and turn on your machine. We suggest keeping the machine on the normal setting for the first 24 hrs. 2. For optimum performance place purifier 5 to 6 feet off the floor (i.e. china hutch, bookshelf, wall unit, etc.). If you have a multi story house the unit will perform better on the top level, it will work anywhere but will be most effective; the higher the better. 3. SETTING YOUR CONTROLS: Since every environment is different and every individual is different, DO NOT pay attention to the square footage for setting your controls. The best way to reach the crisp, fresh, clean air level for you and your family is to pay attention to what your nose is telling you. Remember, FreshAir electronically reproduces fresh air. You simply need to find the level that is right for you and your particular environment. MOUNTAIN FRESH AIR WILL BE THE RESULT. Here’s a simple way to reach the proper settings for your environment: When you walk in the house and smell a purifying odor, that’s okay…but if you are still smelling it after 30 seconds, it’s too high…therefore, turn the purifier control down. If you walk into your environment and do not smell it, you most likely have it too low. Be patient knowing that again, every individual and environment is different! It has a clean smell similar to clothes on the clothesline or the smell of rain to most, but for some, it could smell strong. So, again, pay attention to what your nose is telling you! IMPORTANT: Remember, having the purifier control on high is not necessary. Your particular environment may not need this much purification and you may find it annoying. Simply turn it down and find the level of fresh air that pleases you. Begin with the purifier setting at the lowest setting for the first day. Again, rely on your sense of smell, not the square footage. On day two, begin to adjust the purifier control toward the most favorable level of fresh air for your environment. Set the fan as high as audibly comfortable. If the purification is still too high at the lower settings this machine will purify the air even with the purifier off, based on the advanced SynAirG 5 Air Quality System. If too low (air not fresh), move purifier control up one notch at a time, waiting long enough between settings for overall results. The Fresh Air has a Sanitizing feature. You can choose between 2, 4, 6 and 8 hours. Please have the area unoccupied during Sanitization. This will not be harmful, however the sanitize control is strong so as to kill mold, mildew, fungus & bacteria, and might be irritating. If returning home early, the Sanitizer function can be cancelled by turning the purifier Off momentarily.
15. Just A Few…Recipes for Action Set Up Time, & Required Results Clean Out Ducts Set unit near forced air intake, fan on low, and purifier on high. Close vents. One Hour Fresh smell, sanitized. Sanitize Bathroom Leave FreshAir in each bathroom with the sanitizer on. Open shower stall, cabinets, drawers, and toilet seats. Close bathroom door and leave. 2 Hours 03 (ozone) smell will be strong, telling you that the contamination levels have been greatly reduced. Bathroom sanitized. Freshen Your Bedding Put FreshAir under the covers of your bed; fan & purifier on high. Leave back of unit uncovered or put under laundry basket. 2 Hours The purifier will freshen bedding as if sheets had been hung out on the clothesline. It will also greatly reduce dust mites. Deodorize Your Clothes and Closets Leave FreshAir, purifier on high, fan midrange, in your closet. If the clothes are crammed together, remove half of the clothes and spread apart the ones that remain. Then swap. 1– 1½ Hours The unit will clean out the cigarette smoke, musty odors, smells, etc., from the clothes and closets. Sanitize Your Kitchen FreshAir fan and purifier on high. Aim at Sink or Range, Oven door open 1 to 2 Hours Your Kitchen Sink and Range are now Sanitized. Freshen Your Car/Truck Using a grounded cord, leave FreshAir in vehicle with fan & purifier on high. For best results run vehicle A/C on recalculate for ½ hr. 4 to 6 Hours or overnight Stale odors are miraculously vanished Freshen Your Basement or Garage . Set FreshAir with both settings on high. Overnight – two nights for excess mold and mildew 03 smell with be strong, which would indicate that the contaminant and musty odor levels have been greatly reduced. Quick n’ Fun Tests…. The Onion Test. Rub a slice of onion on the back of your hand and then hold your hand in front of the FreshAir with purifier on maximum, Fan at half power. 90 seconds The smell should be 90% to 100% GONE. The Ammonia Test Put a spot of wet ammonia on a piece of cloth or paper towel. Hold in front of the FreshAir; Place the purifier knob on high, fan on low, position. 1 - 1½ minutes Smell the one that was NOT treated. Now smell the one that was. Compare the difference. There should be no trace of ammonia smell. The Tennis Shoe Test. Find a pair of dirty, smelly tennis shoes. Whew!! Set fan low, purifier high 30 minutes Wow!! What a difference
19. Laundry Pure The Problem: Traditional Detergents Embed Themselves Into The Fabric Resulting In: • Possible allergic reactions - chemical soup of phosphates, chlorines and perfumes • Weighing down of the fabric (loss of volume) • Dulling of the colors • Creation of a sticky surface from residual detergents that acts as a magnet for grime and contaminants • Phosphate and chlorine pollution of our water resources

24. Surfactants Positive Environmental Characteristic : Biodegrade readily to compounds with low toxicity. Example: Straight carbon chain compounds like linear alcohol ethoxylates or betaine esters. Key Characteristics of Concern : Toxicity to aquatic organisms, like fish (vertebrates), daphnids (invertebrates) and algae; persistence in the environment; toxicity of biodegradation byproducts. Example: Alkylphenol ethoxylates--biodegrade under anaerobic conditions to alkylphenols, which persist in the environment, have high toxicity to aquatic organisms, and may be endocrine disruptors (compounds that adversely affect the endocrine system that controls metabolism, reproduction, and growth). Builders Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low toxicity, low impact on the environment. Example: Zeolites, also known as aluminosilicates. Key Characteristic of Concern : Potential to cause eutrophication in fresh water (eutrophication is the process by which a body of water becomes rich in dissolved nutrients, diminishing oxygen levels and a water body's ability to support various forms of aquatic life). Example: Inorganic phosphates. Source: EPA-744-F-99-008 May 1999
25. Bleaches Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low toxicity, no toxic byproducts. Example: Hydrogen peroxide or ozone. Key Characteristics of Concern : Inherent toxicity and toxic byproducts. Examples: Sodium hypochlorite, which can form hazardous gases and chlorinated organic byproducts; may also damage fibers in clothing and fabrics, which can lead to the generation of excess lint, a potential fire hazard during drying; Sodium perborate, which can present both human health and ecological concerns; and Dichloro-isocyanurate may form toxic gas, nitrogen-trichloride, a threat to human health. Colorants Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low toxicity to humans and aquatic organisms. Minimize colorant use whenever possible. Key Characteristic of Concern : Toxicity. Studies indicate that certain colorants may cause cancer or other adverse health effects in humans (e..g., Rhodamine B). Metalized dyes present health and environmental concerns. Source: EPA-744-F-99-008 May 1999
26. Optical Brighteners Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low toxicity to humans and the environment. Example: Coumarin derivative, perhaps. Key Characteristic of Concern : Potential toxicity to humans. Examples: Aminotriazine- or stilbene-based whiteners. Toxicity data indicate that these compounds may cause developmental and reproductive effects, but additional testing is needed to confirm these concerns. Solvents Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low toxicity to humans and the environment. Example: Propylene glycol ethers. Key Characteristic of Concern : Toxicity to humans and aquatic organisms. Examples: For human health concerns, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether; for environmental concerns, d-limonene. Source: EPA-744-F-99-008 May 1999
27. Wash Water Positive Environmental Characteristic : Neutral pH. Example: Enzyme-based detergents. Key characteristics of concern : Highly caustic or acidic wash environments; may cause severe irritation or burns to living tissue in humans or aquatic organisms. Example: High alkaline breaks, low pH sours. Highly alkaline ingredients can lead to alkaline hydrolysis on polyester fibers, shortening linen life. Extreme pH effluents may also damage pipes and sewer lines. Resource Efficiency Positive Environmental Characteristic : Low temperature and reduced cycle formulations. Key Characteristics of Concern : Overuse of water and energy. Formulations that require high temperatures and multiple rinse cycles deplete increasingly scarce natural resources. Packaging Positive Environmental Characteristic : Minimize solid waste generation. Key Characteristic of Concern : Non-reusable or non-recyclable containers. Source: EPA-744-F-99-008 May 1999

35. Say, "Hello!" to the Steady Power a clean power system based on the same technology that has been used for years by big industry and utility companies.
36.
37. THE PROBLEM: Most motorized home appliances (air conditioning units, refrigerators, freezers, ceiling fans, washers, dryers, dishwashers, pool pumps, vacuum cleaners, furnace blowers, etc.) operate most efficiently when they're operating at full capacity. When they're not working at full capacity they pull more energy than they use, wasting the difference. In fact, the average home in America today operates at a power factor of .77. That means a good percentage of the electricity being delivered to the home is being wasted by the use of motorized appliances. SAVE MONEY BY ELIMINATING WASTED ELECTRICAL CONSUMPTION
38. PROTECT APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS FROM THE DAMAGE CAUSED BY VOLTAGE SPIKES THE PROBLEM: Typical residential and light commercial power sources allow literally hundreds of spikes and surges per day to reach valuable electronic equipment in your home. These voltage spikes come from many different sources (motors, power fluctuations, static electricity, lightning, etc.) but can all cause damage to televisions, stereos, computers, DVRs, security systems, etc. THE ECOPOWER4 SOLUTION - DUAL-MODE SURGE SUPPRESSION: The EcoPower4 operates in a dual-mode for surge suppression, alternating between two different types of protection. EcoPower4 uses MOVs (Metal Oxide Varistors) to act as a sort of "pressure relief valve," diverting the surge to the neutral/ground lines. Should a massive surge (like a direct lightning strike) attempt to pass through EcoPower4, it switches into fail-safe mode, cutting off the flow of electricity and blocking the surge, keeping damage to a minimum and prolonging the operating life of your appliances and electronic devices.
39. PROLONG THE LIFE OF APPLIANCES AND ELECTRONICS BY REDUCING ELECTRICAL "NOISE THE PROBLEM: Our homes, businesses and factories are filled with electronic devices that generate "noise." It's this noise that's responsible for that all-too-familiar static you hear on your home radio receiver, the "hum" of a florescent lamp, or the "snow" you see when a TV produces a weak signal. And those are just examples of the electric noise we can see and hear. Imagine how much noise is coming from everything else in your home that you can't see or hear. What you also can't see or hear is the damage this noise does to switching power supplies, causing premature failure.
40. THE ECOPOWER4 SOLUTION -HARMONIC FILTRATION: Designed to filter harmonics and high frequency current (trash) from the electrical environment, harmonic filtration reduces the potential for leakage into the human environment and the creation of additional trash in non-linear loads (televisions, computers, variable frequency drives, energy-efficient lighting, etc.). By reducing the electrical noise and trash current in your home, the EcoPower4 helps protect the switching power supplies, helping prevent premature failure and prolonging the life of your appliances and electronic devices.
41. If you’re asking “can I save energy” or “could I see a savings on my electric bill” with EcoPower4, the answer is YES! In addition to electrical surge and spike protection, as well as line noise filtration, it is definitely possible to save energy and/or money by using an Steady Power in your home. Since these savings are dependent on many different, but specific, factors, results will vary between installations. Some of the factors that can determine energy or money savings are: • Age and conditions of the inductive loads, such as a heat pump or refrigerator, in your home. • Distance from the installation of your Steady Power to the different inductive loads. • Inductive load usage. • The number of Energy Star rated versus non-rated inductive loads. • The type of electric meter you currently have, either analog or Smart Meter. • Your electric utility system’s billing and policies. • The percentage of billed kWh generated by your inductive loads. Overall, when you consider power factor correction (PFC), line noise reduction, and surge and spike protection for your electronics, potential energy savings becomes just one part of the Steady Power whole home power conditioning system.
