Legal Equalizer is an app created by Mbye Njie to improve citizen-police encounters and outcomes. They have built functioning iOS and Android apps in English and Spanish using $30k in funding. The app allows users to record interactions, send emergency texts, view relevant laws, and access a profile. Legal Equalizer plans to expand with additional apps addressing legal/social issues and move internationally as demand for justice is global. Discouraged by the national civil unrest, Mbye Njie set out to create a
way to improve the outcomes of citizen-police encounters. He put
together Our Team and together we set out to build the Legal Equalizer
App.
THUS FAR we have built a functioning App in English, and Spanish, on
iOS AND Google Play, with $30k, sweat equity, and a lot of love.
We have purchased 3 computers, 2 phones, paid 6 coders, and
performed an enormous amount of internal work. Our purpose is to
create a social network of improved civility, for citizens and officers
alike. Because at the end of the day, we all want to go home safely.

Mbye Njie, CEO – Mbye is at his heart a salesman. His years of sales experience and relationship building
(at companies like Apple, Allstate, etc.) provides the background necessary for reaching a wide array of
potential users with high quality products. He is a graduate of Davidson College, one of the top Liberal Arts
schools in the nation.
Martin Davis, VP of Technology - Our technology specialists and engineer who brings 12 years of systems
admin experience and a passion for what he does. Martin studied at Georgia Tech and University of Central
Florida.
Thomas T. Headen III, VP of Legal – Thomas’ experience ranges from Contract Manager to in-house
attorney to entrepreneur. Thomas has experience with federal, state, and municipal regulatory standards. He
is a graduate of University of Richmond (T.C. Williams School of Law) and Davidson College.
Duane Tyndale, VP of Operations – Duane’s operational expertise and technology background allow him
to know exactly what small businesses need. He’s worked at Apple and has experience with digital
compliance. Duane graduated from AIU with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Jacquin Milhouse, Director of Social Media - Jacquin's experience as an internationally recognized
blogger, a graphic designer, and as an attorney with the EPA and Maryland's Attorney General's office, give
our team the additional support we need across all departments. Jacquin is a graduate of University of
Maryland School of Law and Davidson College.

4. Evolution of the Brand
The App – Promoting Justice Worldwide.
ADDRESSING VARIOUS SOCIAL AND LEGAL ISSUES DOMESTICALLY- Legal Equalizer will go on to
build other apps addressing various legal and social issues from Courtroom Procedure, to Judicial and Prosecutorial
Misconduct, to Assault and Domestic Violence. These apps will be a part of the brand expansion of Legal
Equalizer. We have plans for an app that is similar to Yelp but for judges and prosecutors. This will allow us to be
the only company that has the ability to hold all three arms of law enforcement accountable. The data that we will
have and be able to compile will be something that could be viable to both private entities as well as public entities
and even the government.
MOVING INTO THE INTERNATIONAL ARENA - We plan to go internationally because the consumer
demand for justice is international. Every Country with Common Law System is fitting for our App. That includes
the Nigeria, Bangladesh, Canada (and all its provinces except Quebec), Malaysia, Ghana, Australia, Sri Lanka,
Hong Kong, Singapore, Burma, Ireland, New Zealand, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Cyprus, Barbados, South
Africa, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Namibia, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Botswana, Guyana, and Fiji. But our efforts will
move past Common Law with time. In Rio de Janeiro alone, 400 people were killed by cops last year. We plan to
take this app to every single continent and to have it translated into as many major languages as possible. The hard
part is done when it comes to developing the app, the only thing that needs to be done now is to cater the laws to the
countries.
