experiment
Soak the leaf in hot water and
leave it for 1 hour small droplets
will start coming on the leaves
that is oxygen which evaporates
from the leaves. Hot water makes
the droplets come faster on the
Leaf.

Leaves do not make food
during the night, only
respiration takes place.
Oxygen is taken in while
carbon dioxide is taken out
This process is called
RESPIRATION.

10. Roni if the leaves don’t
get sunlight what will
happen??
I had done this
experiment in school.
I know
Take a leaf and wrap one part of it with aluminium foil. After
3 to 4 hours the leaf colour changes because it cannot get
CHLOROPHYLL from sunlight which give the green colour
