The Leitrim Job Club is based in Drumshanbo and funded by the Department of Social Protection. They run 12 four-week job seeking skills programmes per year around County Leitrim, assisting over 130 people. The programmes help with CV preparation, applications, interview skills, and refer people to other services. Most clients are referrals from social protection and over half are male. In the past year, they have helped 27 people into employment, 7 into internships, and 6 into community programs, with 31 entering education. They provide information to employers on supports like advertising jobs and subsidies for hiring long-term unemployed individuals.

• Job Bridge: Provides an opportunity for job seekers
to gain work experience. Job seekers receive a 50
euro top up on their payment from Social Protection.
Employers are not permitted to pay participants under
this scheme.

• 7500 paid over two years to Employers who
recruit a person who has been unemployed
for over 12 months
• 10000 paid over two years for Employers who
