Journal A very well put together journal. Consistent
high quality work spanning all classes. Good range of

Detailed description of the concept behind the show.
Using the British Museum might seem obvious, but
justification with reference to duration of run and
overlap with Luther relevant exhibitions was very
good.  There is a strong timeline progression from
object to object, which is essential where the
relationship between evolving trend and
technologies is so entwined.  Nice conclusion also
with further justification of the concept.  Research
was obviously very well thought out with a lot of
skilled editing of information to create a single
consistent voice.    (A) Distinction  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (A) Distinction  (A) Distinction

Your submission shows that you can research and
investigate a project brief, however you need to
broaden out your research. It appears as though you
have focussed it far too soon. In future, when you
decide on a concept or starting point, research all
around that subject as far as you can go.  Have you
have visited museums and galleries and looked at
WGSN? Do not forget PESTEL and the class
activities.  Your pages are printed professionally but
are let down by poor edit and select and the Ocean
theme pages are repetitive. In future projects you
can practise your new found skills of research and
analysis as well as layout and (very cute) drawings to
build and refine these which help your work
develop.  The paper innovation for fabrics is strong
and visually pleasing. The second theme feels
unfinished. The work presented demonstrates that
you have achieved your initial learning objectives.   (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (N/A)  (N/A)   (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit

You made great improvement throughout the
process, producing very consistent work and beyond
average requirements. A good understanding of the
basic knowledge of the industry helped you produce
great shoots. Your ability to translate your ideas into
finished product is reflected in both your shoots and
other tasks you were asked to undertake. Your
shoots demonstrated great promise in both your
styling ability and image composition. You were able
to demonstrate good resourcefulness in your work
and the ability to work as part of a team. Moving
forward continue to increase you knowledge and
understanding of the industry and take even greater
creative chances. Keep up the good work.  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (B) Merit  (A) Distinction

Dear Mackenzie, This is a very good essay super
creative and full of opinion. you have engaged on an
interesting debate around the topic, utilising theory
well enough. However, some academic standards
have not been  met ( i.e Harvard Referencing needs
to be revised). The main essay question also gets lost
in the middle of the text, so revising the structure
can help.  (B) Merit  (B) Merit

An excellent report and floor plan for M&S. A well‐
executed window, demonstrating a good mannequin
placement and balance of props. This window would
work well for M&S but if you wanted to take it to
another level Ie make it stand out from other stores,
you could, for example create bright wacky wigs with
butterflies randomly placed within the wig. Panache
Display can create any wig, as you saw on our visit.
On entering the store you have created a good floor
plan with interesting elements to enforce your
window scheme, display areas need to be stronger.
Well done Mackenzie you have shown a clear
understanding of V.M. I wish you all the best, come
back and take M&S out of their comfort zone.    (A) Distinction
