Journal A very well put together journal. Consistent
high quality work spanning all classes. Good range of
techniques used and an excellent choice of research
material. You have obviously put a lot of time into
making this a great piece of work. Excellent
combination of written and visual note taking,
sketching and photography. Article A sensitive and
well thought out piece of writing (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (N/A)

Detailed description of the concept behind the show.
Using the British Museum might seem obvious, but
justification with reference to duration of run and
overlap with Luther relevant exhibitions was very
good. There is a strong timeline progression from
object to object, which is essential where the
relationship between evolving trend and
technologies is so entwined. Nice conclusion also
with further justification of the concept. Research
was obviously very well thought out with a lot of
skilled editing of information to create a single
consistent voice. (A) Distinction (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (A) Distinction (A) Distinction

Trend
Forecasting
Your submission shows that you can research and
investigate a project brief, however you need to
broaden out your research. It appears as though you
have focussed it far too soon. In future, when you
decide on a concept or starting point, research all
around that subject as far as you can go. Have you
have visited museums and galleries and looked at
WGSN? Do not forget PESTEL and the class
activities. Your pages are printed professionally but
are let down by poor edit and select and the Ocean
theme pages are repetitive. In future projects you
can practise your new found skills of research and
analysis as well as layout and (very cute) drawings to
build and refine these which help your work
develop. The paper innovation for fabrics is strong
and visually pleasing. The second theme feels
unfinished. The work presented demonstrates that
you have achieved your initial learning objectives. (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit (N/A) (N/A) (B) Merit (B) Merit (B) Merit
