Teaching and training:
I shared in teaching at Cardiff University forundergraduate and postgraduate students. I also
taught and trained health professionals such as nurses and physicians at various health
workplacesin the UK. As a lecturer within the School of Nursing at Annajah National University
and Modern College of Nursing, I had taught a wide range of theory and clinical courses at
Undergraduate and Master level. These included Clinical Instructor for the MSc in Community
Mental Health Nursing Programme and as Clinical Instructor of Nursing Students (BSc) at
undergraduate level. Moreover,as Head of the Scientific Committee at the Nursing association
and in one of central hospital in the ministry of health, I had trained an extensive array of
classes in various health fields. I also shared in building the curriculum of the master degree
programme in mental health nursing and built up other training modules.
Clinical experience in the UK:
I have significant experience in various health and social support services in the UK. For
example, I have worked in Nursing homes, mental health units, dementia departments, physical
disability centres and private houses support. I have also extensive experience of children's
homes, learning disabilities units, autism, mental health disorders, hostels in Cardiff, homeless,
and probation approved premises. In addition, I have experience in play schemes with
vulnerable children and their families.
Clinical experience overseas:
I have broad experience as a senior nurse working in significant stressful and challenging
occupational environments. I have been a registered Staff Nurse in Governmental and
nongovernmental hospitals for 11 years. I worked across a widerange of specialisms, including,
surgical, medical, emergency room, OR, ICU, CCU, ENT, Burn unit, neonate, paediatric,
orthopaedic, urology, maxillofacial, outpatient clinics, and within the ambulance service.

3. Skills:
I am highly motivated and have become wellintegrated, not only in the PhD programme, but
also through my contribution to teaching within the School at undergraduate level. I am an
expert in communication and time management skills. I am a self-starter, extremely hard
working, keen to prove myself, and very capable of working at the high level required by your
workplace.
