Reporting to the CFO, responsible for all aspects of taxation for Revera, including income taxes and indirect
taxes. Responsible for tax compliance, planning, accounting, and financial reporting for taxation. Responsible for
taxation policy and advisory services to Revera’s business community.
• Key contributor in high level planning and strategy meetings and providing input to ensure Revera’s taxation
compliance
• Managed a high performing taxation team (8) contributing to their engagement and ongoing development

• Participated in the implementation of the reorganization of Revera subsequent to its acquisition by its
parent which resulted in $200 million in tax savings
• Structured the acquisition of a home health provider, in a tax exempt subsidiary
• Implemented financing structures that continue to generate over $9.5 million in annual income tax and HST
savings
• Led sales tax and property tax recovery initiatives generating tax savings over $1 million annually
• Participated in lobby efforts with the federal Department of Finance for new home construction rebates and
input tax credits, resulting in $6 million in tax refunds
