It has been a great pleasure to work with La Pyae Aung for almost one year in Jovago, where she has
held the positions of Sales Representative for 7 months and Head of Marketing since May 2016.
As Sales Representative, she was responsible for pitching Jovago’s concept to hotels all around
Myanmar and sign agreement contracts with them. She has done a tremendous job because she
signed over 300 hotels in several cities of the country including Chaung Thar, Hpa-An and of course
Yangon. She successfully overcame one of our main challenges: signing agreement with higher
commission levels that the competition.
As Head of Marketing, she has handled all the aspects related to offline marketing such as
streetmarketing, customer relationship management and corporate partnership. Once again, she has
been very efficient because she is managing very well a team of 4 promoter girls, she is significantly
contributing to the increase of bookings through newsletters and SMS blast and she was the project
leader for the partnership Jovago has today with Mandalarminn.
For one year now, I have been very impressed by her commitment to the success of the company, her
strongwill to discover new things and to constantly improveand her altruism.She studied Computer
Sciences so she was not supposed to be fitted for the position of Sales Representative or Head of
Marketing in an e-commerce company. Actually, and this is her main quality, she can learn anything
very fast and whatever the way she will choose in her career, I am sure that she will succeed. And
moreover, she is a leader that everyone trusts because she has shown in many occasions that she is
reliable, altruist and hardworking. She is, thus, a role model for the team.
