3. Causes que la provoquen:
Actualment no existeix una única causa per l’anorèxia. Hi han
moltes causes i difícils de valorar. El motiu de l’anorèxia es molt
important a l’hora de donar el tractament adequat. Les causes
poden ser socials, familiars o fins i tot culturals.
El tractament de cara a una ràpida recuperació poden ser molt
extensos però totes elles son dues fases:
El primer pas és el recuperar el pes a través d’una realimentació
controlada pel metge que porti el tractament.
El segón pas és la recuperació física que duu a terme una vegada
començada una recuperació en alguns aspectes psicològics com la
percepció de la imatge corporal o la obsessió pel pes.
Una vegada gracies al tractament s’ha aconseguit millorar l’estat físic
es passa a una altra etapa més centrada en els
sentiments, pensaments, i conductes que resulten poc adaptatives.
Amb tot això es tracta de millorar l’autoestima i d’estimular noves
formes d’expressar sentiments i valorar-se a sí mateix, reconciliant la
persona amb el seu cos i necessitats.
4. Conseqüències:
La causa mes greu de l’anorèxia es la mort. Una persona pot morir d’anorèxia
tant per haver forçat massa el seu cos o també, si no aconsegueix sortir-se’n de
la malaltia, pot provocar suïcidis generats per les alteracions psicològiques.
Quan no alimentis el teu cos per culpa de no alimentar-se amb els aliments
necessaris comporta un risc que pot resultar mortal.
Per culpa d’una mala alimentació poden haver conseqüències irreversibles que
amb el temps poden arribar a tenir repercussions al llarg de la vida. Entre més
temps passa amb la malaltia, hi han mes possibilitats de tenir seqüeles.
Algunes de les conseqüències que provoca aquest trastorn són:
Cardiopaties: El múscul cardíac (el cor) presenta una disminució del volum i
comença a fallar.
Desajustos d'electròlits: El nostre cos necessita uns líquids per poder
funcionar, si aquests líquids desapareixen pot provocar la mort.
Desordres hormonals: El cos deixa de produir hormones reproductives, la
tiroides es desequilibra, això comporta amenorrea.
Avortaments espontanis: Les dones anorèxiques embarassades poden patir-
ne .
Lent creixement: Els nens o adolescents anorèxics poden tenir un creixement
inferior als altres.
Problemes neuràlgics: com ara convulsions, pensament dispers, pèrdua de
sensació en els membres.
Alteracions sanguínies: com l'anèmia i fins i tot en els casos més
extrems, pencitopènia, una malaltia mortal que elimina els glòbuls vermells i
blancs.
Calvície: el cabell pot caure fins arribar a la calvície.
5. Tractament:
El tractament d’aquesta enfermetat ha de ser tractada per un
professional, generalment es comença el tractament en un centre clínic
normal o en el metge de capçalera i el tractament es deriva a un centre
mèdic psiquiàtric o algún especialista en aquesta malaltia.
L’objectiu a aconseguir amb el tractament de l’anorèxia es restablir el pes
corporal i resoldre les dificultats psicològiques.
El metge farà un diagnòstic de l’estat de la persona per tal de veure el
millor tractament per al pacient tant sigui ingressat al centre hospitalari o
bé es realitzarà el tractament al domicili del pacient.
El tractament, en ambdós casos, pretén corregir les anomalies
metabòliques, causades per la malaltia, i a poc a poc augmentar
l'alimentació i el pes de la pacient i tractar els trastorns físics i mentals
ocasionats. Algunes vegades és necessari receptar alguns fàrmacs
també.
6. Epidemiologia:
Sexe: L'anorèxia nerviosa es manifesta lligada al sexe
femení d'una manera rotunda. El 90-95% són
dones. Es considera que en aquesta predisposició
intervenen més els factors socioculturals.
Nivell socioeconòmic: Des dels primers treballs, clínics
o epidemiològics, es manifesta de forma explícita que
l'anorèxia nerviosa es presenta amb major freqüència
en uns estrats socioculturals concrets: alts i mig alts.
Es considera que els canvis de distribució de la malaltia
cal atribuir a les actituds dels
adolescents, independentment de la classe social, cap
al menjar, la sexualitat, la imatge corporal i el pes. El
nivell d'exigència i la disponibilitat d'aliments són
similars entre els membres de diferents classes.
