5.0 Land testing (Bhumi Parikshan)
1.Density (Ghanatwa) Test
• Excavate a1ft. X 1ft.x1ft.pit
• Remove soil of excavated pit
• Fill up again that excavated soil
in pit
• If excavated soil remains then
that land is best for construction.
2.Moisture (Adrata)Test
• Excavate 1ft.x1ft.1ft pit
• Fill that pit with water
• Walk towards North about 100ft.
• If water level remains same then
that land is best.

3.Radiation (Vikiran) Test
• Excavate 1ft.x1ft.1ft. Pit.
• Plaster with mud to all sides.
• Take four lamps filled with ghee and
put it at four directions.
• Observed it properly.
• Which lamp is burning more
 East-Good for Bramhin
 West-Good for Vaishya
 South-Good for Kshatriya
 North-good for Kshudra

4.Colour Radiation (Rang Vikiran) Test
• Take four coloured flowers i.e. red,
white, black, yellow.
• Keep these flowers as follows N-black,
S-Red, E-White,W-yellow at evening.
• Observe at Morning next day which
flower is fresh.
 E-White-Bramhin
 W-Yellow-Vaishya
 N-Black-Shudra
 S-Red-Kshatriya
