Topic: MediaReport
First and foremost we would like to thank-you for allowing us to be your media
representatives over the course of the last 2 months. We personally have learned a lot about
how to help companies improve as well as soon these improvements within your organization.
We have much to report to you about our analytics, our goals (and actuals) as well as our
personal recommendations for how you could improve your social media following. We are
excited with the outcomes of our hard work.
We would like to show a graph to help explain what exactly we accomplished for your
company:
At the conclusion of the semester, we are able to asses our goals to determine our
effectiveness. Each goal has had its own challenges, with one coming up just short. Our first
goal to raise over $500 was met last week, after a donation that put us at $525. Our second
goal was doubled, with the average reach per post at 1,073! This was due to a promoting as
well as identification of content that was popular. Our last goal was the one that we struggled
with the most. We set a goal for 200 page likes, and fell short with 182. The good news is we
grow on average of 18 likes per week with a pretty consistent trend. In conclusion, we took a
Facebook page and new funding campaign further than expected, and set them up to continue
to grow. It is our hope that they will continue to move forward and be successful.
Lastly, as explained in our opening paragraph, we would briefly like to bring up a few
things that we personally believe will help you company immensely. As of right now the only
social media platforms you are on are Facebook and YouTube. There are many people that
prefer Twitter and Instagram as their, for lack of better words, “go to platforms.” We know
that it would be very beneficial to your organization if you were able to join these platforms.
The other step that we believe should be taken by your organization is the constant posting of
content onto your platforms. We understand, even more so after the past 2 months, that it can
be very difficult to continually find new, engaging content. When content is posted it is adored
by your following. A good example of this is the fact that we had almost 50% of our post reach
over 1000 people. Consistently posting onto your platforms will help your organizations name
become mainstream in the social media world.
Again, we are so grateful for the opportunity that was given to us by your organization.
It was outstanding to be able to see your company grow simply by the steps that we took on
social media. If you are in need of any further follow-up from us then we ask that you feel
